SATURDAY 9:45AM
Alicia woke up from her heavy sleep with a wet kiss planted on her nose. She shifted on bed, turning her body to the left, just to be met by another kiss, this time on her eyelid. Finally, the brunette opened her eyes being welcomed by a big smile.
"Good morning."
"Hi." She stretched out.
"How are you feeling?" Chris asked, already predicting the answer.
"My head hurts."
"Next time stay sober." He warned.
"If I was sober," Alicia lead her hand to his lips, "we wouldn't have kissed."
"You only kissed me because you were drunk?" Schistad sounded offended, "Ouch."
"Shut up."
The brunette leaned in and pressed their lips together. No naughty hands, no second thoughts. It was a simple kiss, but very wanted. When they parted, Chris took her hand, drawing circles on her skin.
"I was right." He received her confused look, "About the future."
"Kind of." Alicia shrugged.
"Kind of?" Chris chuckled, "You are in bed with me."
"I'm still fully dressed." She bit down on her lip.
"I never said anything about sex."
Alicia laughed, only to be hugged by Chris, tightly. He pressed their bodies together, kissing her temple repeatedly.
"You're suffocating me." She smiled.
With that, he let go of her. Their eyes locked, a smile on both faces. Chris took her hand again, this time caressing her silver ring.
"Want to know something?" Alicia called his attention, and with his nod, she continued, "I'm so scared to want you. But..."
"But here you are..." He whispered, still caressing the ring, "wanting me anyway."
"Yes. Here I am."
Chris swallowed, "Can I say something too?"
"Sure." The brunette nodded, curious.
"I hate waiting. That's the worst part, the waiting." He said, his eyes fixed on the ring, "But I'll wait for you, Alicia. Cause, honestly, I don't want anyone else."
"Ok." That was all she managed to say, too surprised by his words.
"I don't know where we go from here but –."
"Shh." Alicia put one finger over his lips, "Let's stay with I don't know what's happening but I like it kind of thing."
"Hm," Chris kissed her finger softly, "ok. So, more than friends?"
"Yes." She nodded.
Cause honestly, how can you be friends with someone if everytime you look into their eyes you want them a little more than you did a couple of seconds ago? They've never been actually just friends, there was always something more.
"I will wait." He repeated once more before kissing her.
It was ok to both of them. To be somewhere in between was definitely good to Chris, even tho he was planning on achieving much more. Cause sometimes it just feels good to be with someone who makes you smile, even if that means waiting.
Someone clearing their throath called their attention.
"Good morning, love birds." William was leaning against the doorframe.
