Chapter 7: Find Someone

FRIDAY 11:34pm

Alicia had stayed home as promised, just not with her moms. They had to work a late shift at the office. The blonde decided to watch a movie, after all it was Friday's night and she was literally alone with nothing to keep her entertained apart from the tv.

William was right. What a shame.

But it was for the best. Vanessa would probably be there and... well, Chris. And she didn't want any more drama than the one she was already in.

Alicia's Iphone beeped and she dared to check it, regretting right away.

Chris Schistad: still looking for you.

Alicia: then stop, I'm not there.

Chris Schistad: i'm so drunk tbh
come take care of me

Alicia: not my problem??

Chris Schistad: i need some kisses here and there

Alicia: find someone, you always do.

Chris Schistad: but i want you, Alicia

Alicia sighed and put her attention back on the movie developing on her tv. It was actually pretty scary and she already knew she wouldn't be able to sleep all night but she didn't really care. Horror movies were her favorite after all.

That was another thing about Alicia Klarson, she always had a thing for what she knows will harm her. A fatal mistake once that thing goes way beyond movies. Like boys. She remembered Matias from nineth grade, the typical sweet 'not so sweet' boy, and how much trouble she got in because of him.

She was brought out of the movie's suspense with a beep coming from her phone.

Chris Schistad: how can you tease me by just ignoring me?

Alicia was determined to follow the principle: 'just ignore the problem until it goes away'. She believed Chris would just give up one time. She wasn't that much of a deal for him to be trying that hard.

Alicia's phone beeped again with a new coming text. She was ready to roll her eyes but noticed Isak's name next to the notification on her Iphone. It actually worked, Chris seemed to have left her alone.

Isak: can't believe you're missing this party.

Alicia: preventing future mistakes.

Isak: don't tell me you're locking yourself up
every Friday night -.-

Alicia: if that's what it takes to shut everyone up

Isak: you care too much

Alicia: i hear that a lot

Alicia placed her phone on the couch and focused her eyes on the tv screen, trying to ignore Isak's previous text. Everyone seemed to be annoyed by how Alicia always handle things, too kind, too careful. But she couldn't avoid it, it was who she was.

Caring was in her veins.

Alicia's Iphone rang by her side. She eyed the screen, seeing Vide's name litting up. She was calling. The brunette wondered if she should answer, even tho she knew since the beginning she was answering it anyway. After all, there was another proof, Alicia does care.

"Hi, Vilde!" Alicia greeted, being welcome by the loud music on the other side.

"Alicia!!" Her friend shouted, sounding too happy to be sober.
