Chapter 1: Living the California Dream

Holly's P.O.V:

As I wake up to the sound of my alarm today was the day Me and Lucy had to leave our hometown to go to California, I thought I might quickly get in the shower and then something to eat before I pack. "Holly, hurry up! We haven't got long!" Lucy shouts. "Lucy, we don't leave till 12:30, it's 10:37!" I shouted at her back as I get in the shower. As I'm in the shower, I start to wonder what it would be like to make a life in California. Anyway, I get out of the shower and dries myself off and get changed into Jeans and a off the shoulder top. Lucy and me start packing our suitcases ready for the trip. "Well, Holly are you excited?" Lucy says. "Are you gonna miss London?" I asked her totally ignoring her question. "Yes I'll miss London very much, but come on, I heard they have a cheerleading squad at our high school that we're going to." I looked at her with a smile on my face. "Really?" I said and Lucy nods. "Now let's get packing." And we both start packing getting ready to leave at half 12.

Lucy's P.O.V

I stare at my suitcase and check I've got everything.Yes I know I'm a control freak but I don't want to leave anything behind.I can't wait to go to high school and see the artwork they have.I look at Holly who is packing at the rate of a snail."you know I'm going to miss all our friends from our college" I say looking at Holly."yeah I'll miss them too,even though some of them are extremely annoying most of the time" she says laughing.Are mum and dad call our names and we go running down the stairs to them.They have their suitcases next to the front door ready to go and out pet pug Charlie is sitting in his travel basket.This is it, it is finally time to leave London."ok girls get your suitcases and bags together we are going to leave in ten minutes for the airport" Dad says while checking his watch.Me and Holly literally nearly fall down the stairs and break our necks as we struggle to make it down the stairs with our suitcases.Once everyone is ready to leave for the airport we head out to the car.And our journey to the airport begins.
