The Ending is Always the Worst

Niall's POV

I could faintly hear the sound of people rushing. My vision was blurry but I tried hard to look for something. I looked over to my right. There was a body laying without any motion and there hand dangling from the, what seemed to be a hospital jumper. I looked up and then over to the left. I looked back to the right and then noticed my vision got clearer. Next to me Lexi unconscious. I started to sit up but a nurse came and pushed my back down. "Sir, you need to stay laying down." She said calmly.

"But, that's my Lexi!" I said fighting with her.

"Sir, she is badly injured and unconscious. You are injured as well so you need to calm down while we prepare you for surgery."

"What happened?"

"You were shot and she was also shot. We are getting you a doctor as soon as possible." She said. She then left the room I could hear the sounds of the heart monitor beeping. Suddenly, the monitor next to Lexi started beeping rapidly and a crowed of doctors and nurses came rushing in. They started rolling her out of the room and the only choice I had was to lay there and watch her leave. A nurse came in with a needle and came to my bed side. I held my arm to her and she put the needle into me then left once done. Then everything went black.

I woke up to four guys at my bed side and one was crying which was probably Harry. I opened my eyes and sat up. " Hey lads." They all looked up at me and I looked over to see the bed next to me empty. Heavey tears started forming in my eyes. "Wheres Lexi? Wheres my Lex?" The tears began to fall and Liam came over to me. "She didnt make the surgery." anger was now in my eyes and mixed with tears.                                                                                                                                                      "No, no, no. She was here right by my side. THERE WAS ONLY ONE GUN SHOT!" I yelled.                   "Well, the guy who shot you got both of you. But, Niall, Lexi is dead." He said tears falling from his eyes slowly. I couldnt't get that in my head. I had a feeling that she was right next to me physically.I looked over and saw almost as if it was an angel next to me. I looked up and saw it was Lexi. She was better. Her same beautiful, soft skin and big bright smile. She interlocked her fingers into  mine. "Lexi-" I said softly. Then images of good memories flashed infront of my eyes. Every single one was with me and Lexi. then, it stopped. The whole room was quiet and everything was in slow motion as I drifted off into a bright light that gave me a good feeling. The one thing that was impossible to relaize is that my life was over but now i could be reunited with my Lexi.
