"Lev...I miss you Lev." You stood alone, on the balcony off your room. After the fight with the purebloods, the Hirata and Haiba family do not associate with each other anymore. It's been years since you've seen him...decades.

You had fallen in love with him when you were just children.

He was just perfect.

All those promises he told you, sharing his most inner thoughts with someone like you. Even dreams.  Now instead of being close to you, he hasn't tried once to see you. Maybe he didn't love you like you thought.

But tonight, you would see him. Tonight you would make him forget everything else and be yours.

You got invited to an event, and his father was hosting it. At first, you were not allowed to go. Since your father had finally cracked, he told your servant Yui you were allowed.

"Are you okay, (f/n)-sama? Do you want me to go with you?" Yui asked, looking at you from outside the car.

"No no, I'll be fine. Just remember our cover-up if father asks more than once, okay?" You smiled, waiting to be able to see him again.

One step closer

You had rejected every proposal...every affectionate gesture. Just for him. Just so you can one day be his.

"Good bye Yui. See you later." You rolled up the window and the driver started off.

The sun was slightly shining through your window, but it was setting. You remember the days that Lev would sit outside with you, even if it meant getting sunburnt.

Trees flew by fast, cars on the other side of the road. Slowly it became dark, making you even happier. Soon it would become time to make your entrance. And there you'd see Lev.

Slowing to a stop, your driver turned around and smiled at you. Nodding, he got out and opened your door so you could get out. Many vampires were heading in, making you feel more nervous than ever.

Stepping up to the door, you nodded your head to other nobility. Entering the hall however, you decided to create conversation with other individuals so you wouldn't look so out of place. 

There he was. Standing with a few others, one being his father.

Hesitant, you didn't know what to do. Go over? Yes, don't regret not doing so.

Slowly walking over, your dress gliding across the floor, you received a few hellos. Of course, you said hello as well. It was nice to be out in public again.

"(f/n)-sama, how lovely." You smiled back, realizing it was Lev. You were standing in front of him. But one thing you couldn't feel anymore was your nervousness.

Time stands still
Beauty in all she is

Every breath, every hour has come to this 

"Hello, Lev-sama. It's a pleasure to see you here." You lowered your head to him, realizing he was watching you. Maybe he's been watching all this time.

"How is your father?" He asked, you looking away from him. Lev didn't care about your father, but you knew he had to make conversation somehow.

Taking the hint, he smiled and rested a hand on your shoulder. "Let's go out to the garden, yes? I haven't seen you in ages."

Smiling, you stared into his hues. "Sure, Lev."

One step closer 

As you entered the garden, it was surprisingly lit with small lanterns. It was beautiful, the roses still in bloom.

But, you noticed he was watching you again. Looking up, you saw his smile.

"Lev...I missed you."  It came out of your mouth quick, making Lev wrap his arms around you.

"I'm sorry, (f/n). I didn't mean for it to take this long." Lev mumbled, stroking your hair.

It made you swell with happiness. You laid your head on his chest, breathing in his familiar scent. It brought back tons of memories, like sneaking out, skipping lessons, and just being together. Even before you both realized the different paths you'd have to take.

And all along I believed I would find you

"It's fine. We've been alive for hundreds of years anyways." You laughed, Lev joining in with you.

Everything about him made you surge with happiness. Everything and anything.

"Lev. Wake up." You whispered, the silver-haired vampire looking up at you. Sitting up, he smiled as he wrapped his long arms around you. Blissfully, you let him pull you down on the bed.

"My beautiful fiance, you're not getting away."

"I love you too Lev."

(a/n): lev is so ooc here i'm sorry but him as a vampire OH JESUS anyways i wrote a draft like this but it didn't sound great and so this song is from twilight and i was like "why not another one for my shitty one-shots lets do it!"
