Everyone was packed and ready so we met up at Festus the Car. Percy was still sulking because he didn't get to drive. "Its okay Percy! How about we all take turns driving!" I suggested. Percy grumbled, "fine..." Sadly we didn't make it very far. Festus broke down before we even made it a third of the way there. "Oh come on." I grumbled.
"So I didn't get to drive after all!" Percy mumbled, "I didn't even get to ride shotgun!" I sighed. I got out of the car to check what happened. "Darn the engine is shot!" I shouted angrily. Luckly there was a bus stop up ahead. We all pushed Festus into the trees to hide him then walked up to the bus. It was a short walk but by the time we got there Percy was out of breath. "Hey are you okay Percy?" Annabeth said worried. "Yeah I'm fine, I bet it is because my legs are tired...for sitting down for to long. Yeah thats it!" Percy stuttered.
Me and Annabeth decided not to question him because the only time he had stood up today was now and when I had showed them Festus. I thought it was a little wierd but then Annabeth yelled. "The bus is here!"Annabeth
We all got on the bus and sadly the seats could only fit two. Me and Percy sat together and poor Leo had to sit by an old man who kept asking him if he wanted some turkey. "Oh come on Leo he just wants to give you some turkey." Percy giggled. "You should try it. Who knows you might like it." Leo grabbed the turkey out of the old mans hands while me and Percy kept laughing. "You know. This turkey is actually really good! But something is off about it. It tastes like cookies and milk." Leo questioned. "What?!" I asked. We all looked at the old man who had molted into a middle aged man with sandy hair. He was wearing a black and red jump suit.
We immediately knew who he was. I guess the turkey Hermes makes tastes like cookies and milk.
