"Annabeth! There's a device on the back of his neck!" Leo yelled. "Understood! Percy try to hold him!" Annabeth said. "I'll try!" Percy replied. Percy tried to climb around him but The Author grabbed him and pushed on his stomach again. "Ngghhh!" Percy groaned. "Leo Percy's down try to restrain him." Annabeth ordered. "Okay!" I replied. I ran behind him and grabbed his arms, "I got hi-" I started to say but was then thrown to the side. "Nevermind."
Percy struggled to get up and grabbed The Author's foot. The Author looked down and kicked Percy, "Stop it! He's too injured to fight leave him alone." Annabeth cried. "Don't...worry...Annabeth...I got this..." Percy smirked at Annabeth. Percy stood up and grabbed onto The Author and held his arms. "Do it now!" Annabeth ran over and pulled the device off The Author's neck and he fainted onto Percy's arms.
"Looks like he's okay." Percy assured us. "But what was that device on his neck?" I held up the device is was a green and black panel type color with three antennas, small ones, it also had three buttons one red, one green, and one blue. "So what do we do with it?" I asked. "Uh send it to camp?" Percy said.Annabeth
We decided to take the device back to camp. We also decided to take The Author home, looks like my information was needed. "Doesn't look like anyone is home. Should we just take him inside?" Leo asked. "Yeah we can't just leave him outside past out cold." Annabeth said. "I'll go look for a key." I went around looking under rocks and plants or under door mats. When I finally found the key it was in the weirdest place, it was in a little hole in a flower garden. "I'm back." I said. "Finally it took you soooo long." Leo groaned.
"Whatever." I replied. I unlocked the door and we all walked in. We laid The Author down on his couch and turned around to leave. Percy was in front and he froze in place, "Percy? Hey Percy whats wrong?" I asked. "L-look." Percy stuttered pointing at the door. I looked around him and saw a tall black shadow, it was just sitting there doing nothing at all. "I-is that a g-ghost?" Leo stuttered. "Okay don't panic. We'll just, uh, walk around it." I suggested. Before we started walking forward the shadow blazed like a flame and became taller. It then died out and disappeared. Leaving behind a note.
