Percy ran over to us breathing heavy. "Percy...where did that strength come from?" Annabeth asked. "He, uh said some things. It made me mad and that happened." Percy replied. "What did he say?" I asked. Percy blushed and tried to say something when the turtles surrounded us. But instead of attacking us they started making squeaking noises. Me and Annabeth looked at each other then at Percy who was speaking the same way. "Uh is it just me or is Percy crazy?" I asked. "He's talking to them. Obviously." Annabeth said. I stood there confused, I guess he would be able to talk to turtles, but that is just weird.
"Apparently the turtles were under the turtle man's control. Also Leo, they're mad because you smashed them." Percy said. I stuttered. Percy and Annabeth laughed. "Let's just get going, we're really close to Boston." Leo grumbled. We all got in the car and Percy kept begging to drive so we let him. I was amazed at how smoothly he drove and how he knew everything he needed to do. He's even in recovery but he's so good.

Annabeth

Leo was looking at Percy really weirdly. It was really annoying, I was about to scream out, "watch it boy he's my man!" Leo looked at me like he read my mind I looked over at Percy and he was laughing. "What?" I asked. "You do know that you said that out loud." Percy laughed. I blushed, "I-I d-did?" I asked. Percy kept laughing like crazy, "So what? Me, you, and Leo in a love triangle? Sorry but I think i'll pass, I already love you Annabeth." I smiled, "I love you too seaweed brain." Leo was still speechless in the back. "Sorry Leo," I said. He nodded and didn't look at Percy anymore.
The rest of ride it wasn't silent. In fact we were having a great time. We had to switch drivers when Percy started getting tired. It was my turn to drive. Leo still sat in the back. Poor Leo. It wasn't long before we reached New York, for driving across the country that didn't take as long as it actually was. We decided to stay in a hotel so we could rest, shower, and eat. Luckily we packed some money so we actually had a nice night. I got my own room obviously. Percy and Leo slept in the room across from me and it was so peaceful. We decided to meet at breakfast in the morning.
