Ashton One Shot // Humor

You have the weirdest family in the history in the world. No matter how hard you try you can not get them to be civil for one night to meet you boyfriend. You begged them to be normal for tonight because Ashton was coming over to meet them for the first time. You had been with Ashton for a while now but you had been avoiding tonight for as long as you could. Ashton said that he had enough of you avoiding this because he wanted to know if your parents approved of your relationship.

Everyone was sitting in the living room listening to music waiting for Ashton's arrival. Out of everyone there you were the most stressed. You knew that they were going to do something to mess this up for you. They would do or say something and he would call it off with you once the date was over.

There was a knock on the door and you jumped up to see who it was. You knew that it was Ashton but you wanted to be the one to answer other wise your father would scare him to death by joking around with him.

When you answered the door Ashton was standing there with flowers in his hand. You giggled cause they were your mothers favorite. You hugged and he kissed you quickly before you and Ashton went into the living room where everyone else was still sitting. You had left them to answer the door and within the time it took you to get there, answer the door and come back it looked like a tornado had swept through the place.

 "Everyone this is Ashton, Ashton this is my family" you said and than everyone realized that you were back on the room.

"Hello Ashton. I have been dying to meet you but my daughter here has been avoiding bringing you around" she said standing up and giving him a hug.

"It is wonderful to meet you Mrs.(Y/L/N).  These are for you"  Ashton said handing her the flowers. She took them laughing.

"Please call me (Y/M/N) Ashton and thank you very much" she said to Ashton and he laughed and nodded his head.

 "Hello Ashton. I am (Y/N)'s father. The way she described you I thought you be better looking" you dad said and you knew he was joking but Ashton was stunned.

Everyone in the room began to laugh and that included you. They were laughing at how shocked Ashton was and he looked over to you with a questioning face. This made you laugh harder. He stood there and waited for everyone to stop laughing.

"I'm sorry but I am not sure what is so funny about your father calling me ugly babe" he said with sadness in his voice.

"He was joking. Now do you see why I didn't want you to meet them. My family and I have a twisted sense of humor silly an d beautiful boy" I said to him and he pulled me close to him.

"I was joking Ashton. You are the best looking person she has ever brought home. Not that there has been many with a face like hers" you dad said and you stepped on is foot.

"Asshole" you said to your father and Ashton broke out in a fit of laughter and it caused everyone else to laugh as well.

The rest of the night went worse than you had expected. Ashton began to pick up a thing or two about your dads humor. He told you that he loved spending time with your family. Ashton and your dad were in the living room and You were in the kitchen with your mum.

"I like this boy honey. Don't lose this one" she told you and you laughed.

"I think I picked up on that a long time ago mum" you said and the both of you laughed.
