Bunny [JJK]

"Kookie, can we go to the pet store today? You promised we'd go last time," you say with puppy eyes, jungkook grinning in return and rising from the couch.

"Let's go, then." he said and grabbed the car keys. Exiting the house, you make your way over to the car with Jungkook trailing behind. "Is there something you specifically want from there?" he asks while starting the car, patiently waiting for you to buckle in.

"Mhm, I'm not sure. I want to see the pets and hopefully take one home." you reply, a giddy smile on your face.

He nods in agreement, nodding and smiling at the same time. The ride to the pet store was silent. Once you arrive, you immediately jump out of the car and run into the store. Upon entering, you greet your friends who happened to work there and head off to see the multiple pups, forgetting to wait for Jungkook to follow.

"Y/n! Why didn't you wait for me?" Jungkook complains, pretending to sulk. You giggle and reach to ruffle his hair in attempt to sooth him, "I'm sorry. I just couldn't wait to see the pets." you say before turning to pet the small pups that would stare with cute, glossy eyes.

Jungkook squats down next to you and begins to pet them as well, earning happy barks from them. Right after, the actions were repeated with the cats before heading into the bunny area.

"Look! This one is adorable, it reminds me of you." You say, gently cupping the small bunny in your hands and showing the fur ball to Jungkook. "I don't even look like that," Jungkook pouts, crossing his arms.

"I didn't say you looked like it. I just said it reminded me of you, silly." You say and begin to somewhat play with the tiny bunny. At the same time, Jungkook couldn't do anything but stare at you playing with the bunny, giving it your full attention.

After what felt like an eternity, you finally open your mouth. "Jungkook, can we get this bunny, please?" you ask in hopes of getting a yes. Jungkook nods and says, "let's inform one of the workers that we want him or her."

Placing the bunny back down and making sure it's the one, you head to inform one of your friends. They immediately helped and informed both of everything needed to be done along with everything needed for the bunny.

"Thank you so much, Hani." you say and wave goodbye, securely holding the cage while Jungkook held the few other items bought.

Once you got into the car and made sure the cage was secured in the back, you headed home. Immediately after arriving, you took the cage and let the bunny out of the cage, watching over it and playing with it. After Jungkook finished placing the few other things, he didn't want to bother you and opted to watch a movie.

Well, he wasn't necessarily watching the television, rather his eyes were on you. "Y/n, pay attention to me, too. I'm feeling jealous now," he pouts, sulking like a child.

"Don't be jealous of him. He's just very cute," you giggle, tapping the bunny's little nose.

"So I'm ugly?" Jungkook asks, scoffing. You raise an eyebrow, "No. You're way too handsome for my well-being and stop being jealous of him. He's our son now."

Jungkook chuckles and reluctantly nods. "Fine."

You gently cup the bunny and turn to Jungkook. "Can you take care of him for a few minutes. I need to use the restroom." Jungkook nods, gently taking ahold of the fluffy fur ball.

After a few minutes, you come back and hear Jungkook say to the bunny: "Should I just wear a bunny suit and act like one so she can give me her full attention?" You cup your mouth to cover you laugh but fail when he visibly jumps, holding the bunny in his warm arms. "Jungkook-" You sit next to him.

"-you don't have to be jealous of a little bunny. I still love you and will give you my attention." you reassure him, pecking his lips.

"But right now, I want to play with him so-" you take the bunny away from Jungkook's hands and place it on the carpet.

Jungkook pouts and mumbles to himself. "Note to self: don't have kids. I shouldn't have gotten the bunny for her."

"Here-go play with your dad." you pick up the bunny and place it on Jungkook's lap. Jungkook stared at the bunny with wide eyes but eventually snapped out of it and began to play with it. In the meantime, you stared at him with a loving gaze.

"I love this little bunny!" Jungkook says, laughing as the bunny hopped around him with its nose scrunching up every once in a while, a ticklish feeling felt on the man's chest.
