After the door shuts, Jin lets out a frustrated sigh. He really didn't mean to yell but even if he was fine with her condition, he couldn't help the sense of emptiness whenever children were in his view or spoken about.

Jin felt the tears trickle down. He knew she wanted children but it crushed her to know she couldn't. Jin remembers how Y/n spent weeks eating very little to almost nothing. It was like she was a robot.

Soon after, she snapped out of her trance and went back to normal. That's when Jin realized that the mention of kids was a forbidden word. Hence, he promised to never mention the idea of having kids but somehow, it slipped past his mind today.

"What is wrong with me?" He runs a hand through his hair and messes it up. He stood up and wiped away the tears. Then, he heads to the bedroom to ask for forgiveness. He raises his hand and gently knocks on the door but no one answers.

"Y/n?" His voice was gentle yet full of guilt. He sighs again knowing she wasn't going to answer or open the door. He leans on the door and presses his forehead on the door. His right hand clutched the door knob.

"Y/n . . . I'm sorry. I didn't mean to yell at you." He whispers. Shuffling can be heard behind the door. The noise grows louder as the footsteps stop in front of the door. Jin knew that although the door wasn't opened, Y/n was listening to him directly behind the other side.

Jin took a deep breath. "I know what I said was wrong. I know mentioning it hurts you but even so, wouldn't it be nice to consider other options? I'm not saying this out of my own desire. I can see it in your eyes that you want a child to raise, create memories with and love. It hurts me to see you sad at the thought." He sobs at the end. He didn't want her to hear him because he had to be strong for the both.

Even if he couldn't see his beloved, he knew she was trying to suppress the strong wave of emotions building up. "It's okay to cry, babe." He whispers and walks away.

Y/n weakly smiles and tries to hold the stubborn tears from coming but it was useless. "I'm sorry, Jinnie." she says to herself. Jin enters the study room and watches the monitors through the screen there. Whenever the child was in the house, they were on just to ensure her safety.

Through one monitor, Jin could see Y/n stand from her spot at the door and walk over to the now crying child. "Don't cry." he hears her say. She picks her up and rocks her back and forth. Shortly after, the bundle of joy went back to sleep. A faint smile appeared on Jin's face.

Y/n places her back on the bed and soothes the beautiful locks of hair from the child. After making sure she wasn't going to wake up anymore, she walks over to the door and leaves the room. She also makes sure to turn off the lights and leaves a small lamp on.

"Oh?" Jin watches her disappear from the view of that specific monitor. The door creaks open and Jin finally pulls his gaze away from the monitor. "Jin," Y/n timidly walks over to him with a guilty look. Jin was somewhat shocked by her appearance. He didn't expect to see her talk to him so soon.

"I'm sorry about earlier," she mumbles with a small pout. Jin opens his arms and a slight smile is evident on his face. "Come here."

Without a second thought, Y/n rushes to his warm embrace. She wraps herself around him and clings onto him like a koala. His hand runs up and down her back as his head is leaning against hers (who's buried in the crook of his neck).

"I was thinking about what you said earlier. After some thinking, I thought. . . how about we adopt a child?" Her voice was soft and muffled but even so, Jin clearly heard her. Happiness couldn't help but surge through his body.

"Really?!" He couldn't help the happiness in his voice. Y/n pulls away a bit to see his face. She hums and smiles seeing Jin's shining eyes.

Even if she was a bit scared of having a child in the house all day long, she was happy that they were finally going to have a child in their lives.
