Seven

Day 1 after Jon left Monday 17, 2007:

I wake up alone and groan as I hear Bentley crying.

"Daddy! Daddy! Daddy!"

I walk to his crib and look at the time.

5:13am

"Benny daddy had to go to work." I tell him picking him up.

"Ut dow." He tells me as I put him down.

He crawls to my bed and grabs my phone.

"All daddy!" He cries.

I sigh.

"Baby daddy is probably sleeping. It's not even 6 yet." I tell him.

He just cries more.

I sigh once again and grab the phone dialing his number and clicking facetime.

"Please pick up." I mumble.

A few rings later he answers.

"Hello?" He groans sounding tired as hell.

"I'm sorry to wake you but Bentley woke up screaming for you." I say quietly.

"No no it's fine. I was missing you guys anyways." He says.

He turns on a lamp beside his bed so we can see him and Bentley stops crying.

"Daddy! Tome ome." He says.

"Hey little buddy. Daddy is coming home in one week. But you gotta be good for momma. Daddy misses you both so much." He says smiling sleepily.

"What time do you have to get up for work?" I ask.

"Umm I think around 7:30. I gotta be there by 8:30." He says yawning and rubbing his head.

"Daddy ired?" He asks.

"Yeah buddy daddy's tired." Jon says closing his eyes.

I hear his door open and someone walk in.

"Jon we gotta be there by 6:30. They want a meeting with all the wrestlers." I heard Colby tell him.

"Are you kidding me?" Jon asks groaning. "Sorry guys I have to cut this call short. They called an early meeting. I love you both so much. Stay safe and I'll be depositing more money later so you can get groceries and all." He says.

Bentley kisses the phone making him chuckle.

"Awe man I get the best kisses from my little man! Do I get one from momma?" He asks smirking.

I blow him a kiss and he catches it.

"I'll save this for later." He winks.

"Alright well we will let you get ready. I love you Jonathan. Be careful and come home to us in one piece." I tell him.

"I will princess. I love you." He says.

"Lub ou daddy!" Bentley says.

"I love you too little man! I'll call after work. Bye." He says and hangs up.

Jon's POV:

I sigh getting out of bed.

I wish I could've talked to them longer.

As I am about to walk to the bathroom to shower Colby speaks up.

"That's one hell of a family you've got Jon." He says smiling.

"Everything I do now is for them." I say smiling.

"When are you going to marry her?" He asks.
