Your POV

~•A Week Later•~

I'm so nervous. I think I have every right to be.

First off, Laurence and I are preforming in front of not only the class, but also professional choreographers.

Second, we've only been practicing for a week and I'm not even sure that's enough time for us.

Third, this is a love piece. I don't wanna be awkward but I also don't wanna be emotionless.

Oh, and to top it all off, LAURENCE ISN'T EVEN HERE!

"Where is he?" I asked Donna worriedly.

"I have no clue." She replied.

"What do I do if he's not here?" I asked panicking even more.

"Nothing. I don't think we can anything. But don't worry, he'll be here." Donna reassured.

"We are supposed to preform in 5- I mean 3 minutes." I reminded her.

I walked away and started to panic.

2 minutes later all my friends come back and they said they couldn't find him.

"Oh my Irene." I sighed worriedly. "I have wyverns in my stomach."

"I'm gonna kill him for doing this." Katelyn threatened.

"He's still not here?" Donna walked up.

"He's not here." I answered.

"I guess we have to tell-"

"No! I'm preforming. I don't wanna waist the choreographer's time." I declared.

"You don't have different routine." Aphmau reminded me.

"Improv. That's what I'll do. It won't be as good as the performance we would've done together, but it'll be something." I explained quickly.

"You don't have to-"

I cut Donna off by walking to the center of the room.

Everyone clapped once I finished. I smiled and bowed. My smile quickly faded when I remembered that Laurence wasn't by my side.

I walked out of the room and started to look for him.

"Laurence!" I yelled.

Nothing.

"Laurence!" I repeated.

I kept yelling his name.

10 minutes go by and I gave up. I walked back into the room and everyone started to ask questions.

"Hello Ms. (l/n), right?" One of the female choreographers asked.

"Yes. Call me (y/n)." I replied.

"Wasn't this supposed to be a duet?" She asked.

"It was. But, my partner was throwing up. He we was very ill." I lied.

"Could I speak to him please?" She asked.

"He went to the hospital and I don't think he is going to be back for a very long time." I responded quickly.

"Oh, well tell him that we all hope he's okay." She said.

"Will do." I fake smiled and nodded.
