Waige (7) [Part 2]

The team lands on the aircraft carrier. The landing is bumpy, but overall pretty easy. Walter, Paige, and Ralph end up huddled together. Sly is hyperventilating. Toby is pretty chill, along with Happy and Cabe. The team gets out. The carrier is beaming with soldiers and airplanes/helicopters everywhere.

Cabe: We are here guys. Looks like the colonel is coming to greet you.
Cabe waves over a highly dressed man, covered in medals and tags.
Colonel: You must be Team Scorpion. Nice to see you here on such short notice.
Paige: The briefing said something about a hack and ransom situation, is that true?
Colonel: Yes, that is true. This ship is stationed here because of its access to foreign software servers. We have been running operations on most of Europe and Northern Africa, but we have just been shut down with a message. I'll show you if you follow me.
The Colonel leads the team toward the main entrance to the inside of the ship. They head down to a server room about 3 floors below the surface.
Walter: Impressive server room. All state of the art. How did the hackers get into this?
Colonel: They used extensive algorithms and high tech computers to enter the server from an almost untraceable source.
Sly: Untraceable to you. We know what we are doing.
The team takes this as a lead to start working. They set up computers and start to work. Paige and Cabe sit back and talk to other members of the server room. The colonel makes his way over to Ralph.
Colonel: Hey kid, want to go check out the ship?
Ralph: Oh cool! Mom, can I?
Paige: Sure, as long as you keep up with him, okay?
Ralph: Okay, mom. Let's go!
Ralph gets off of his stool and closes up his tablet. He follows the colonel out of the room.
Paige: I don't really trust that guy.
Cabe: Why not? He seems perfectly fine. He fits all of the military standards, the stiffness and composure.
Paige: That's the problem, on every military involved case, even the colonels weren't that stiff. It's like he's playing up on the movies.
Paige and Cabe lean up to look out of the door and down the hall at the colonel and Ralph walking down the hall.
Cabe: I see what you mean, Happy are you getting all of this?
Happy: Yeah, I'll look up this guy's record, did he give a name?
Paige: His tag said Jones-Brown.
Toby: Those are some of the most popular surnames in America. Sounds likes a fake to me.
Sly: There's no Colonel Jones-Brown assigned to this ship. Records only have a Colonel Whitehead and French.
Paige: Ralph is with him, what will happen?
Walter: Worse case scenario, he gets thrown off the boat. But if he doesn't find out we know he's a fake, he's safe.
