There are all types of poems,
we mostly write them for our Mums.
Love, fantasy, horror, hate,
poets are people you should never date.
They're too sensitive and banal,
all apart from Roald Dhal.
They talk about feelings permanently,
you'll die of boredom is a certainty!
Plus they're impossible to write,
they take up your brain's whole might!
To find constant rhymes can kill,
there's no rhyme for orange still!
Or purple, for that matter,
my typing's making a clatter!
I can tell this won't last long,
because this poem pongs!
It's time to say goodbye,
it's time to eat pie.
I can't think of anymore,
So her I'll settle the score.
