I was the first one to wake up the next morning. I used that advantage to take a bath and apply my makeup. I already changed in the bathroom because I don't want Rune seeing my butt.  Having my makeup on finally, I decided to go out of the house.

I wore a coat over my shirt and denim shorts because I felt the coldness outside.  I searched around even if I got out of the gate.

There is already a ray of light coming out from the sun. The villagers are already working around so I can saw that the village is already alive. Inhaling deeply, I tried to smell the local scent of the area. The strong smell of the flower shop nearly can really make the surroundings smell so good.

"Good morning!" I heard a voice greeted.

Turning my face and I saw Clyde coming out of their house which is just door. "You sounded so cheerful in the morning, big guy."

"Of course! Especially now that you're the first one I see as the sun rises." He flirted, leaning on the wall of the gate.

I rolled my eyes and turned away from him. "I should tell my husband that our neighbor is flirting at me."

A laugh escaped from Clyde. "I'm not flirting. Just being friendly."

"Tsk, those are the things I said when I flirt." I muttered to myself, flipping my hair to my back.

I notice how Clyde glance at my face with wonder in his face. "Did you sleep with makeup on? Or you just love putting them first thing in the morning?"

I shrugged, yawning in the process. "I should get inside. My husband must have woken up."

I heard him call me as I closed the gate before I enter the house. I noticed Jane is already awake too, and she is making breakfast already. Having her back on me, she only sensed me coming and damn.

"Sit down, Jasmine—"

"Wow, you sure do have great animal senses, lady. You must have smells me coming in." I taunted.

I heard how she takes a deep breath. Her back is still facing me and I don't have a clue on what kind of face she is showing. But as much as I know, she is probably gawking at me. Too bad, I was the one who stayed with Rune.

I sat down on the wooden chair, sitting back and crossing my legs.

"Jasmine—"

"Don't call me by my name." I scoffed, taking an apple on the fruit basket at the table and taking a bite of it on the spot.

Jane cleared her throat and finally turns around. She was cooking some eggs so she flipped everything on the plate before serving them on the table as well. She didn't bother speaking anything to me as I kept my eyes on her, watching her moves. I don't know but I just want to irritate her.

"Ms. Waylord, breakfast is served. Please eat." She said in a fake loyal tone.

I was about to answer when the door from our room opened and Rune came out, still looking sleepy as his eyes were slightly opened and those messy hairs. Damn, he looks effortlessly breathtaking.

"Next time, you will be the one who is cooking breakfast, my lady." He suddenly demanded and it didn't made me happy.

I crossed my arms and raised an eyebrow at him. "Are you kidding me?"
