Chapter 23: Date With Brian

This chapter is kinda about Brian. 😅 But please don't hate him and don't judge him yet. It is all planned out. Just trust me.

I tried my best go and try to talk to Rune but he is good in avoiding me. I will try to go and grab him after our talk with my Dad but Jay called him to tell him that they need to talk about something so they need to go back to their hideout.

It just great. Just fucking great. Now, I am alone with Brian and he said that he wanted to go on a date with me and he is literally forcing me to go out.

And Dad said going out with him helps. Then that is what I am doing.

I will deal with Rune later. Right now, I am going on a date with my fiancé.

Brian and I are off to go to the Crimson Square. It is a large somehow like an outdoor mall. It's very huge actually. There is even a park in there where you can relax and hang out. A good place for dates.

But not my dream date though. I hate going out on dates where it is very public. So right now, I am in the car with Brian and he is driving towards the Crimson Square.

"So, what do you want to do?" Brian asked me. "I mean, do you want to watch a movie?"

"You're the guy in this date. Impress me." I answered. I only said that because I am not in the mood to date him.

Jeez, if it was the old me. I will date him with no hesitation. I mean, come on! He's handsome and hot! It would be awesome to be linked into a politician.

But the point is, I'm not like that anymore. Ever since Rune came along. He is all I ever wanted.

"Show me a place where I can know you." I suggested, as I shrug my shoulders. "In that way, it is easier for me to know you and get closer to you."

"Are you sure about that?" He smirked then chuckled.

"Why? Should I be scared to know the real you?" I asked, cockily while arching an eyebrow.

"Of course not." He stated with confident. "You might be surprised to see the real me. And then you might fall in love with me." Brian joked causing me to laugh out loud.

"Fall in love with you? My ass!" I scoffed, kiddingly and we just laughed the whole car ride.

It took us just half an hour before we could reach the area he wanted me to be with.
Brian drove us to this amazon look like themed animal park. And I am not expecting this at all. What I had in mind was maybe he would take me to some romantic date scenes that you usually sees in movies. But it never came into my mind that he is taking me to a zoo.

This is very surprising.

"Does this mean that, I will know you better here?" I questioned, looking around the area. It is a very secluded area but it seems like this is more of a welfare for animals. "Don't tell me that those chimpanzees are your cousins." I joked.

Brian laughed as well. "Welcome to the San Gregorio zoo, Jasmine." He announced, showing off the entrance of the area. "This is where I offer most of my time. Helping out here."

"You're into animals?"

"I am a volunteer here. We save some endangered animals then protect them here." He told me, a radiant smile spreads his lips. "So, want to join me inside?"

"Sure, sounds exciting." I answered and let him take me inside of the place. There are many staffs inside and there are also some guests, some tourist. Most of them are children though. Like they are here for an education tour.
