Chapter 34: My Lady

Waking up the next morning, I felt the sun rays peaking trough the blinds and I let out a soft yawn as I buried my face deeper on my pillow. I was lying face down on the bed and I felt something bumped my hand when I moved them around the surface.

Peaking to my side, I noticed a bouquet of red roses were there.

And I'm not surprised anymore.

These past few months, I've been receiving gifts from Rune. And I don't know how he gets inside my room but I know he is around somewhere. And he is just an amazing man. He's the only person that I know who can get inside my house even though this place is guarded by tough men.

Rune just can't show his face to me because it might just get the both of us in trouble. And I totally understand him, what else can I do?

When Dad died, the security of the house toughen up. That was his wish and now, they are taking commands from my older brother, Daryl. He is not here but he visits me from time to time and to check the companies and businesses that my Dad left for us. I'm just happy that he didn't try to steal all of his money like the one that I see in tv.

I should pay him a visit sometimes too. He is always the one who travels half of the world just to see me.

I sat up from my bed and took the bouquet in my arms. There is a note on it and I immediately read it.

To the most gorgeous woman in my life,
Sorry I couldn't show myself again but pretty soon I will. Just wait for me patiently and then I will be yours.
Ps. I love you so much. It was so hard to keep my hands away from you especially in that lingerie.

Oh, Rune. When are you gonna stop that sugar coated tongue of yours.

And today was the day.

2 yeas since he left. And my longing for him is more than I could ever wish for. I always send him a message just like what he told me before. Even if they are nonsense, I tell him everything. And I never gave up hope that he will return to me.

I got up from the bed and decided to go to my shop early. Yes, I had my own lingerie shop and makeup line together. I got some help building it up and I couldn't have done it without my trusted agents who were always there to support me. But I will soon try to expand the extend of my lines.

I'm still modelling around the globe. I never stopped since I can still pursue them together.

"Good morning!" My best friend Ariana greeted me with wide arms as she came into my store. She also brought her daughter, Scarlett  with her. I have branches of this lingerie shop all around America but I choose to stay here mostly in Crimson City.

I accepted her hug and kissed him on the forehead. "Hi, honey. I'm so glad to see your bright smile." Ever since she lost her second child, I barely see her out of their house. She was depressed and I'm glad that she finally came out from her shell.

"Aunt Jasmine!" Scarlett also spread her little arms for me and lifted her up in the air and hugged her tightly.

"Hey little girl." I pinched her chubby cheeks then I leaned to Ariana's ear. "Honestly, if I don't know you and then walked in a lingerie shop with your daughter, I might think you're a lunatic for bringing a kid."

Ariana just rolled her eyes and playfully slapped my arm. "Oh, before I say anything else, I will already tell you why I came here first. So, today is Stephan's birthday and we're having a small gathering at his restaurant. I already called Zephyr and his family and they said that they will be coming. So, are you available this lunch?"
