"Rune is staying at the Billionaire's Subdivision. His mansion is number 4316. That is where he truly lives. That area is very guarded with heavy securities. But I can get you in there."

That was what Jay told me as he drove me to this subdivision where Rune is living. The place is really guarded with armed forces starting from the gate. I didn't know how Jay manage to get in but he told me to hide inside his car before we drive in.

The security has to call Rune before he could let Jay's car inside and damn, I didn't know Rune is living in a luxury life. All the mansions here in this subdivision is not normal mansions but I am talking about luxurious and magnificently designed mansions. They are all amazing.

I told Jay to just show me the house and let me talk to Rune alone. But in my surprise, Rune is not even in his home.

So I decided to wait for him.

There is no backing down, Jasmine. Make up with Rune and explain everything. I was sitting on the cemented ground and wait for him to come back.

It was already dark and no Rune came. I can't even call him yet because I don't have my phone and I don't even know if I am already allowed to use one already though.

I think it was already two hours of waiting for nothing. Are you punishing me, Rune?

I was about to stand up, when white Bugatti stopped in front of the mansion and there was Rune coming out of it. Looking so hot as always.

He stopped on his tracks when he saw me sitting in front of his place. He looks like he had seen a ghost. I stood up from the cold cemented floor, I was carrying my heels in one hand so I'm barefooted now. "Rune..."

In just seconds, his ocean blue eyes quickly darkens with coldness. "What are you doing here?"

"I came here to talk to you." I replied, my heart is pounding nervously inside my chest. "Please, Rune..."

"I know what you are going to say." Rune stopped away then he walked passed me, giving me a cold shoulder as he opened his locker door. "How long have you been sitting here?"

"Two hours?" I sounded so unsure. Oh, it was more than two hours.

"Is Jay the one responsible here?" Rune asked, facing his head to me. "That's why the security called me saying that Jay is here at my house and I even agreed to let him in."

I bit my lower lip and tried my best not to cry. Why did he became like this all of a sudden? I'm not used to it. Where is that gentle and caring guy I have been with in St. Dominique. Where is he? He is not this man.

"Jay told me everything, Rune. You're ignoring me because we have been suspected, right?" I voiced out while he opens his front glass door.

I saw how he clenched the knob of the glass door. "Damn that man." He cursed under his breath then turned to me. "That's not the only reason why I am mad, Jasmine. You accepted to be my girlfriend while you are already engaged to that guy."

Damn, he called me by my name.

"Rune, I swear. I am planning to tell you about the fiancé thing but I just can't find a good time." I told him. "I just...can't ruin the times that I'm with you because we don't have that much time with each other anymore."

Rune scoffed then ran his hands through his hair. "This relationship will not work out anyway." He murmured, avoiding eye contact. "I should have stayed away and kept my distance from you in St. Dominique."
