It's the night of the party. I have two hours to get ready before Dominic is going to arrive, but here I am sitting on my bed with a towel wrapped around me as I scroll through my Facebook feed.

I don't have the energy to get up and ready because I had worked late last night again. With a heavy sigh and a grunt I stood up. I dried my hair off before putting it in a bun and started on my makeup.

I only put light eye shadow, a little mascara and eyeliner. Once I was done with my makeup and was sure everything would stay, I took my hair out of a bun, letting it fall in its natural curls.

Walking out of my bathroom where the red dress lays on my bed, I slipped in the dress not bothering to put a bra, but I put on a pair of black underwear. Taking my black heels I pulled them on just as the bell rang.

I head to the door and smiled when Dominic stood there with a suit like always. "You look great, Mini bear." He said looking me up and down, I did a little twirl to show my dress off. He rolls his eyes at my silliness as I stepped out of my small home.

"Thank you, Dom. You clean up nice, too." He smiled showing his pure white teeth, I locked my house door before following him to his car, a '69 Camaro painted all black. He opens the door for me before walking to his side.

Once he's in the driver's seat and driving I turn to him. "Who's party is it?" I ask, he glances at me with a very small smirk.

"My father's." I choked on air at his words. His father only scared me a little, but a party with a Russian mafia leader and probably other very dangerous people? Dear god be on my side because hell no. "Don't worry, Mini, we're not going to kill you." He chuckled.

As we pull up at a mansion, I notice that there's nice cars everywhere, limousines, old fancy cars, and new ones, with people heading in the house looking rich in their dresses and suits. I glance at Dominic only to see he wasn't in his seat anymore but standing beside me with a hand out to help me.

I slipped my hand in his, getting out as men with guns stood around us, "Это Мина, ваш приоритет номер один - сохранить ее в безопасности." (This is Mina, your number one priority is to keep her safe.) Dominic said to them in a stern tone, his voice low and threatening.

They all nodded but didn't walk away, my eyes shift to the mansion that looks like it's been painted black. I can't see the outside very well with it being dark. When we got to the stairs there was a long red carpet that led into the house. I wanted to run away, but Dominic gently tugged me up the stairs. I smoothed my dress out one more time, then began walking up the stairs. Dominic has a stern but soft smile on his face.

"Мой сын." (My son.) A man in a dark blue suit calls, walking over as we walk in. His hair and beard were a mix of dark brown and gray, I remember him from school the first day Dominic arrived, he has a lot of muscle. I notice he has the same rose tattoo on his hand as Dominic does, they also have the same facial features.

"Oтец." (Father.) Dominic replies, hugging the man. They exchanged a few words in Russian before they turned to me. Of course I didn't have any idea what they were saying so I turn bright red.

"You're Mina." The man spoke in a thicker Russian accent than Dominic. "I'm Edward Gold, Dominic's father." I nod, smiling softly. I wasn't sure what to say to the Mafia leader that is bowing to kiss the back of my hand. Someone calls something which made Edward apologizes and walking off.

"Would you like a glass of wine?" Dominic asks, his breath tickles my ear. I glance up at him, I'm sure my face is red as a tomato. "I will be back, Mini bear." I'm thinking about chasing him down and making him stay with me. You cannot bring a girl to a Russian Mafia party and LEAVE HER ALONE!
