"Rain its time for dinner!" My father yelled from down stairs.

You see we dont have omegas, my father hates the way they are treated so we have a personal cook that gets paid.

I grab my little brother and carry him down the stairs, as the smell of Chicken Alfredo invades my nostrils.

I see my dad sitting at the head of the table as I sit Jonah in his high chair. "It smells so good" I praise Brenda the cook.

"Thank you dear it was my pleasure." She said smileing.

I sit down as a plate is sat in front of me. "Thank you." I tell her, just as my mother comes down the stairs and ruffles my silver hair.

She sits next to my dad and kisses him on the cheek lovingly. I sigh and begin to stuff food in my mouth as my other pack members come down the stairs. Ethan my best friend sits next me with his mate next to him.

He has dark brown hair and hazel eyes while his mate has black hair and green eyes.

He nudges my shoulder playfully. I drop my fork on the floor and then glare at him while silently telling him to get me another.

Suddenly my dad tenses and then yells "Rogues!" We all stand up and get in fighting positions. Then a bullet comes through the window and hits the back of my mothers head. My fathers screams match my own as my mother falls to the floor.

Jonah began to cry as I pick him up trying to comfort him, even though I had my own tears flowing down my cheeks. My dad composes himself enough to shout "Run. Take your brother and go!"

He walks over to us and kisses our foreheads and pushes us to the back door. A large gray wolf comes through the door and pounces on my father as the pack begins to fight more wolfs that are coming through the door and windows.

I begin to run. As I got out the back door I heard my family and friends dieing screams. A sob escaped my lips as I ran harder.

Someone had caught my home on fire, because now I see smoke and flames billowing from the side of the house.

I wish I could shift and run faster. My brother continued to cry on my back.

I run from my burning pack house with only my baby brother on my back.
