Chapter 2

I finally leave OakvilIe Elementary School and I start to walk home, as I'm walking I start to get really tired, and my feet starts to ache. Ugh, I wish I didn't reject Nate for offering me a ride, I decide to call him. He answers on the second ring "hey Zoe, how's your first day of your internship?" He asks me excitedly "um cool?" I say it more like a question. I'm terrible at lying and probably always will be. "Cool?" He asks while chuckling a little.

"um ya I'll tell you about it later, but can you please pick me up. I know you asked me earlier and I said no, but I'm really tired now and..." "Its fine Zoe I'll pick you up right now just stay where you are."He cuts me off. What's with people cutting me off today? "Ok thanks so much." "No problem I love you." He tells me "I love you too" I say, and hang up on the phone.

While I wait I try to find a spot to rest, I see a tree and decide to lay against it. I wish I had a book right now,any book really preferably fiction. I also wish I was listening to some calm music while eating some... My thoughts are distracted once again by that same black BMW with roaring music, I literally have to cover my ears of how loud that is, Ugh I hate rock music.

I start feeling a bit nervous when the car stops right in front of me 'it's going to be okay, calm down Nate's going to come and you'll be safe' I repeat and I slowly calm myself down, where is Nate anyway? I start panicking once again when one of the doors open revealing two guys, and I think they are walking over to me. One has blond hair, he has a couple of tattoos on his arms and the other one has brown hair, he has an eyebrow and ear piercing, he also has tattoos on his arms and some on his chest, some of the tattoos on his chest just reach to his neck."um hi my name is Louis and this is Niall." The brown hair boy says, while pointing at the blond one. I nod my head listening to both of them. They sound nice not matching their harsh appearance "Me and my friends are planning to go to this club called XSmall do you know where it is we're kind of lost" Louis says chuckling lightly. I've heard of XSmall before but why are they going on a Monday? My mother told me to never go there, when I was a child my father would go there almost everyday he practically lived there luckily he stopped. "Um ya, you have to turn around keep going straight then make a left it's at the end of the block." I tell him I have no Idea why that club is so close to the elementary school.

"Thanks sweetie, hey why don't you come with us?" He asks jokingly, at least I hope he's joking. "No thank you" I say the nicest way possible. I'm starting to feel uncomfortable, where's Nate? He better come. The window of the BMW rolls down revealing a brown curly haired guy "Hurry the fuck up!" He yells, I jump slightly from how loud he was yelling I noticed that he has a British accent, why is he in America if he has a British accent? And why are these two nice guys friends with that mean boy? "Coming Styles!" Niall yells "Hey what's your name?" Louis asks me I'm staring to panic again, I want to lie but I know I'll just mess it up. "Z-Zoe" I stutter gosh I'm an idiot. He chuckles lightly "Louis we better go before Harry comes." Niall says, I'm guessing Harry was the guy who was yelling at them. "Fine, bye Zoe thank you for the directions" he tells me while running to the car, I give them both a simple wave goodbye.

Two minutes later I see Nate's gray Corolla parked in front of the school. Finally! I practically run into his car, "hey" Nate greets me "um hi what took you so long?" "Long? That was literally five minutes maybe less you missed me that much?" He chuckled lightly. Five minutes?!? It felt like an hour! Okay, maybe not an hour but it surely felt longer then five minutes"Um ya" I attempt to laugh but It just comes out like a cough.
