My graduation day was absolutely fantastic! I said the most inspiring speech making a few of my teachers tear up. My mother was absolutely thrilled after my graduation and ended up celebrating at Carvel both of us ordering two vanilla cups. I texted Nate about my graduation, he congratulated me and said how he wish he was there. We ended up texting till nine and I ended up falling asleep.

Monday finally came which according to my calendar was the first day teaching a summer school college class. I quickly put on a black dress that hits just below my knees and wore a gray cardigan over it. I got in my moms car and started thinking about my first day substituting what if since this summer school they're all going to be bad? I can barely handle second graders! Oh great. I start panicking of how this day with start I really wish Nate was here to makes me feel better by kissing my forehead and tell me everything will be okay. I check my phone and I get a text message from Nate.

*good luck Zoe:)*

*I'm feeling really nervous right now I really wish you were here:(*

*kisses forehead* he texts making me laugh

*you're going to be amazing stop overthinking it* he says

*thanks* ugh I really wish we didn't break up, maybe we can have a long distance relationship I mean I still feel the warmth from him.

*thank you:)*

*your welcome*

Maybe I should call him, I dial his number and he answers on the first ring.

"What's up? Still a little nervous?" He teases and I laugh.

"I just want to thank you, you really helped me feel better"

"No problem ba- Zoe" he stutters

"Okay bye"

"Bye" well that was awkward.

I finally make it to Green Hill Community College and head to the classroom, when I enter I expect a bunch of people to be waiting in the classroom when in reality there is only one person sitting in the front row. He smiles at me and I smile back he has light brown hair and brown eyes, but he doesn't seem the kind of summer school kind of guy.

"Hello" I say to the nice boy

"Hi, my name is Liam." He tells me I'm not sure if I should say my last name or my first name.

"Zooey." I tell him and he smiles

"So what brought you in summer school?" I ask Liam and he cringes when I say summer school.

"Well I used to live in Florida with an amazing college when my dad needed to find a new job so he moved to New York. And once I came here I had no time to get to any good colleges so I ended up attending a community college, but sadly I missed too many days and I have to be here so I can learn what I missed." He explains.

That makes more sense he seemed like a smart guy at least that's what I think I hardly even know him. Anyway he seemed the wrong kind of guy to attend a summer school program.

"So what are you here for?" He asks

"What?" I'm not sure what he's asking.

"Why are you-" he gets cut off by a group of people mostly guys talking about some game they watched, as I look at the group of guys they are all tattooed and have piercings. I start to panic and head for the bathroom to calm my nerves. How am I going to handle this whole summer? I really hope I will be able teach them or even let them listen to me. Once I'm calmed I enter the classroom and see Roxy and right next to her is Harry they are both sitting at the end of the room just talking. I go to leave once again when a guy calls for me.
