When I get inside of Nate's car, I'm glad he doesn't ask about my internship. We stay silent in the car as he drives, it's not an awkward silence though, it's a peaceful kind of silence. We finally get home and I'm about to get out of the car when Nate grabs my wrist making me turn to him. He kisses me gently on the mouth "I love you" he says "I love you too" I say giggling softly,he smiles at me showing his perfect white teeth. We walk out of the car together and into the house "Hello Zoey, how was your internship?" My mother asks me. My smile turns into a frown and she notices it "You ruined it didn't you!" She yells. "No mother, it was fine I just had a few embarrassing moments but it was okay."

My mother has a frown on her face, but she slowly recovers from it and goes into the kitchen. "Zoey did you check the mail to see if you got accepted yet?" Oh ya my letter I sent to Hudson University! I totally forgot about it, I was worried about my internship to even check the mail. Maybe one good thing could happen today. I rush outside to get the mail, I look through it when I see a sticker that says 'Hudson University.'

"It's right here!" I say excitedly. My mother rushes to me and Nate has his hands on my shoulders trying to relax me, I guess he noticed that I'm really nervous right now. The more I get to open the letter the more nervous I get to the point that I can't even open the letter, but I know that I have to. I finally open the letter and read the letter.

Zooey Archer, we have read your letter and we are extremely impressed and a fond of you. Our decision was made and we are honored to accept you to Hudson University! We would like to see you next week to get to know you. We are really excited to see you next week, see you soon!

"Oh my god I made it" I say disbelief clearly in my voice. "I knew you'd make it, I'm so happy for you!" My mother says, approval clear in her voice. "Congratulations, you're going to be great!." Nate tells me, as he kisses me on the cheek. I take a moment to let this sink in and when it does, I'm hugging Nate really tight to the point where he starts to cough, I let go of him and give him an apologetic smile. "I can't wait to tell the Johnson's about this!" She tells me. I have a feeling she's showing me off but I really don't care right now.

"Oh and the chief executive wants to speak with me next week." I tell them "Next week! You better be prepared" she warns me, but she should know better. "Of course mother who do you think I am! I'm going over everything right now." I tell her, and she smiles clearly proud of me. I go upstairs, mark up in my calendar when I have to go to Hudson University. I clean my bed, do my homework, and then I ask Nate for the assignments I have missed from the other periods of school.

I finally finish all my homework, I start to think of everything he could possibly ask me and answer them. I write my schedule for tomorrow, then I set my alarm at 5:00am to get ready for tomorrow, I eventually fall asleep.

....

My alarm wakes me up and I rush out of bed to take a shower. After my shower I change into a white shirt, a black skirt that's just below my knees, and put on my old vans. I straighten my hair and decide to put it in a pony tail. I go downstairs and see Nate and my mother, I give Nate a kiss on his cheek " you look beautiful." He tells me "and you look really handsome" I tell him, he's wearing a yellow and white vest, over the vest he's a wearing a yellow cardigan, and grey pants. His hair is gelled back, he looks really nice.

"Wanna go now?" He asks, breaking me from my thoughts "um ya sure." I go inside his car and wait for him to do the same, once we leave my house I look at him and he looks pale. "What's wrong?" I ask him, he looks at me with worried eyes, "Oh nothing I just forgot to study for this really important test." he tells me "oh" I say, I have a feeling he's lying, and when I don't talk about it he looks relieved. What just happened? He usually tells me everything and I do the same thing.
