Chapter 2

-2012- Annie and Hayden are 7 nearly 8
Annie's pov:

"Ughhhhhhhhh!" I let out all my anger as Hayden and I sit down at the table just coming out from class.
"Um you don't seem happy?" Hayden said while eating his sandwich.
"Well I'm not happy because I'm always getting in trouble by my stupid teacher! Now she's gonna ring up mum!" I said placing my head on the table and letting out a sigh.
Hayden and I aren't in the same class so it makes me even more angry when I'm not with him.
"Well maybe stop mucking up in class and everything will be alright, Annie."
"Mm Ok."
"Soo.. wanna come to the movies with me this afternoon? The new despicable me came out.. It looks really good. It's ok if u don't want to-" I cut him off.
"OH MY GOD YES!!!! OF COURSE I WANT TO COME SEE IT! YES YES YES."
I started jumping around crazily.. I've been waiting for this movie for so long.
"I knew you'd wanna! It's on at 4:30 so we can walk home and stay at mine for a bit then dad can take us?" Hayden said looking at me.
"Ok cool!" I said with over excitement.

The bell went and we headed off to class. It was just lunch so now we've only got an hour left of school.
"Ok bye Annie. Meet me at the front gate." Hayden said walking backwards as he was heading to his class.
"Yep ok! Bye weirdo!" I yelled hoping he'd hear what i said.
"Oh I feel so loved Annie Leblanc!"
"Oh I know you do!"

I walked out of class and ran to the front gate waiting for Hayden.
I stood there for a good 5 minutes and still no site of Hayden. It was pretty weird because he's usually out of class before me.
"BOO!"
I jump when the boy come out from the bush.
"Oh my gosh Hayden you scared me!!" I said playfully shoving him.
"Hey, don't call me a weirdo then." He said shrugging his arms.
"Ok.. weirdo!" I run away from Hayden and ran out the front gate.
"Come back here!"
I could hear Hayden running up behind me so i decide to give up as Hayden is the fastest kid in the grade.
"Yeah I had no chance getting away from you." I said laughing.
"Oh come on! I'm not that fast.." Hayden said with a lite smile.
"HAYDEN YOURE THE FASTEST KID IN THE GRADE!! DONT EVER SAY YOURE NOT FAST!" I said putting my hands on his shoulders and shaking him.
"Ok, ok I won't." He put his hands up in surrender.
"Thanks for supporting me so much." He said putting his arm around me.
"Yep I'm your number one fan, Hayden summerall." I said looking up at him and smiling.

"Ok come on guys!! Time to go to the movies!" Hayden's dad yelled out as me and Hayden were in his room.
"YAY IM SO EXCITED!!" I said getting up and jumping up and down.
"I know me too! Let's go." Hayden took my hand and lead me down the stands. We sounded like a herd of elephants.
"I see we have two very happy kids!" Hayden's dad said smiling.
"Mhm! I'm so excited."
"Ok let's go."
Hayden and I ran to the car and jumped in the back. We both couldn't wait to get to the movies.

"Enjoy the movie."
We walked into the cinema running directly for the back seats. It was mine and Hayden's favourite seats.
As we were running up Hayden spilt some of his popcorn making us both laugh.
"Hayden you're so clumsy." I said plumping down into my seat.
"True that." He said laughing.
About 15 minutes later, after the ads, the movie started and I was really excited.
"Hey guys I'm going to go to the bathroom. Are you two going to be alright?" Hayden's dad said standing up.
"Yeah we will be fine." I said answering for the both of us.
I was a bit confused for why Hayden's dad "had to go to the toilet" right at the start of the movie.
About 20 minutes into the movie Hayden "yawned" and put his arm around me.
"What the heck are you doing?" I said whispering to him.
"Um, I saw this on a movie. The guy like yawns and then puts his arm around the girl." He said lightly shrugging his shoulders.
"You get a lot of things off of movies don't ya." I said giggling.
"What do you mean?" He said a bit confused.
"Remember? Last year.. you kissed me on the cheek and you said you saw it on a movie..?" I said laughing.
"Oh yeahh. And then remember you kissed me on the cheek back?" He said wiggling his eyebrows.
I rolled my eyes and whispered in his ear,"weirdo."
"Oh my god Annie!!" He said a little bit too loud.
"Shhh." I said worriedly.
We stayed quiet for the rest of the movie. Hayden's dad didn't come back for the rest of the movie. I was really worried but I'm sure he was ok.
The movie finished and me and Hayden were chatting about how good it was. We walked around the cinemas trying to find Hayden's dad.
We walked outside of cinemas and saw Hayden's dad, mum and my dad all talking.
"DAD WHERE THE HECK DID YOU GO?" Hayden said running up to him and hugging him. "Oh I thought I'd let you Annie be big kids and see a movie by yourselves." He said picking him up then tickling him. "STOP, STOP!" Hayden squirmed around as Hayden's dad kept tickling him.
I walked up to my mum and dad and hugged them.
"Did you like the movie?" My mum said bending down to my height.
"Yeah, I loved it." I looked over at Hayden and smiled.
"Awe that's good. Well we better get going now.. go say thank you and bye to Hayden and his dad.
*AN: SORRY IDK HAYDENS DADS NAME*
"Thanks so much." I said  hugging Hayden's dad.
"That's ok my little munchkin." He said hugging me back.
"Byeee Hayden." I said hugging him. Our parents all started saying, "awww" and taking photos.
"Byeeee annieeeee." He said with a pouty face.
We walked away and went to our cars.
"See you tomorrow , Hayden!" I yelled out to him.
"See ya , bestie."
