Chapter 21,, themeparks pt. 2

-2016- Annie and Hayden are both 12

Annie's pov:

Hayden's family and my family got our tickets for DreamLand then started to walk around the theme park. Roller coasters are my favourite thing in the whole world, same with Hayden. So it's always fun coming here with him.

My eyes lit up as I came across a new roller coaster which was huge, "Hayden! Let's go on this one!" I said pulling Hayden to the front of the line.
"Someone's excited!" Hayden laughed at me.
"Hayden we haven't been here in forever! Of course I'm excited!" I said jumping up and down. I was probably embarrassing the hell out of myself, but I didn't care. I was too happy.

"Hayden, Annie. We aren't going to go on this one.. you two can go on it by yourselves and we will me you right here after the ride, ok?" My mum said slowly walking towards the seat.
"Ok! See you soon." I waved at mum then started to walk up the line. Luckily, Hayden and I got fast passes so we cut through really long lines thank god!

"Are you scared?" Hayden said biting his finger nails. It was obvious that he was terrified.
"Not really.. are you?" I said with a smirk.
"Nope. Not at all. Why would you even think that? That's so stupid! Do I look scared, anns?"-
He is so scared it's not even funny.
"Hayden. You need to calm right down. It'll be fine." I said reassuring everything would be ok. I was kind of weirded out by why he was acting like this over a roller coaster.. he's never usually scared of anything.
"I don't even know why I'm so scared." He said putting his head into his hands.
"Hayden seriously. It'll be fine. You'll be fine! And if you get that scared, I'm right next to you, ok?" I said smiling at him. He lightly smiled back at me. His smile literally made me melt inside.
I shook off all my thoughts that were rushing through my head and decided to break this awkward silence both Hayden and I were experiencing..

"Come on. It's time to ride!" I said to Hayden with a confident smile, then hopped into my seat. I watched Hayden as he slowly sat next to me.
"You're so cute when you're nervous."
I shut my eyes in embarrassment, realising what just came out of my mouth.
Hayden's smiled at me while I'm looking at him with the most awkward smile.
"Why are you making out as if what you just said was such a big deal.. you do know you've kissed me before.."
I blushed so hard after he said that. I quickly looked back over to him and smiled then looked away. Why am I being so awkward lately? I hate this feeling so much I want it to go away!

"Please keep your arms, feet and legs inside the cart at all times and keep your head back in the seat.. other than that, hope you have a good ride see you when you get back.. hopefully." The lady said over the microphone.
"You ready, Hayden?" I said grabbing onto his arm.
"I think so-"
Next minute I know the ride takes off. We go high up into the air. I admired the view for 0.22 seconds.. then back down we go doing multiple loops and turns.
"THIS IS AWESOME!" Hayden yells causing me to laugh.
"TOLD YOU IT WOULD BE FINE!" I said in the middle of a loop.

"Best ride ever!" Hayden says looking down at me.
"See! You were freaking out over nothing!" I said playfully punching his arm.
"And apparently this girl I know thought it was cute when I was nervous." He said going infront of me, walking backwards so we would still be facing eachother.
"Shut up." I said rolling my eyes then of course, smiling.
"You know.. You're so cute when you're annoyed." He said walking back next to me.
"Smooth, summerall. Very smooth." I said walking away from him smiling to myself.
"Hey! Wait up!"-

I saw mum, dad, Paige and Hayden's dad all sitting there smiling.
"Was it fun??" Mum said putting her arm around me.
"Yes!! It was amazing!" I said looking up at her.
"Well that's good. Hayden, did you enjoy it?" Mum asked Hayden.
"Yeah it was really fun." He said as he came over and stood next to me.
"Mmm.. but before he went on he was freaking out about it. It was so funny." I said laughing to myself.
"And cute apparently." He raises his eyebrows at me and I roll my eyes
"Ok... lets go find another ride for you two to go on.." my mum said smirking at us.

"Let's do this one!" I said pointing at the large roller coaster called the cyclone.
"Ok. Let's go!" Hayden said running up to me.
"Are any of you going to go on any roller coasters?" I asked turning around and looking at all of the others.
"Maybe.. but no right now.. you two go and have fun!" Paige says smiling.
"Ok." I smile back at her.
"Let's do this!" Hayden says as he puts his arm around me. I look up at him and smile and stare into his eyes.
How was i so lucky to meet this boy?
He is literally perfect.
And I'm literally not.
End of chapter 2 of theme parks. There will be a part 3, possibly even a part 4 lol idk.
