chapter 2: Baby surprise

Everyone: (Ran to her)

Leon: (Held her) Violetta, are you okay?

Vilu: (Touched her stomach in pain) UHM.... I DON'T THINK SO.

Fran: Is it really time?

Andre: Hold on, sometimes it's just the contractions.

Leon: (Helped her) He's right. Let's just wait for a few minutes.

Vilu: (Took a deep breath) Okay, I think I'm fine. It was just the contractions.

Andre: You see, I was right.

Leon: (Took her hand and helped her to the couch) Okay, why don't you just go and rest on the couch. Come on.

Fran: You know, If I'm going to have to go through all that, I don't wanna have a baby.

Cami: Well, this isn't the worst. The worst is when you're gonna deliver.

Andre: Vilu, you alright?

Vilu: (Touched her stomach in pain and groaned) IT'S COMING BACK AGAIN.

Leon: (Held her hand) Okay, let's just change your position. Lie down. It might help. Andre, get her water now.

Andre: On it. (Went)

Vilu: (Still in pain)

Leon: Okay, now let's just take deep breaths okay. Slowly.

Vilu: (Took deep breaths)

Andre: (Came and gave the water to Leon)

Leon: (Gave her the water) Now slowly drink this.

Vilu: (Drank it)

Leon: (Sighed and rubbed her forehead)

Fran: Poor Vilu. She has to go through all this pain. I can't even imagine what she's going through.

Cami: Yeah.... quite scary. Especially if you are just a beginner.

Andre: But it's all worth it in the end don't you think? You finally get to see the person you've been nurturing and carrying for for the past 9 months. And you get to share that special moment with the one you love, which I sadly don't have.

Cami: Aw Andre, don't give up. You'll find that special someone soon.

Andre: I couldn't even afford to pay the rent of my own apartment, TWICE. I'm not worthy to share this kinds of moments with anyone.

Leon: How are you feeling?

Vilu: (Sighed) Better.... thank you.

Leon: (Smiled)

Vilu: Thank you for being with me through all this. I take back what I said. You really do act like my husband. You're my hero. (Smiled)

Fran: Don't say that Andre. The right person is closer than you think.

Andre: (Scoffed) Yeah, right.

Leon: (Smiled cheekily) Hmm... I don't think hero is the right word to call me.

Vilu: (Laughed) Oh yeah? Then what word should I use?

Leon: (Smiled) Maybe Superman?

Vilu: (Chuckled) Superman? Really?

Leon: (Smiled) Nah, I'm just joking.

Fran: Hey Vilu, what do you say if we were to throw you a baby shower?

Vilu: Now? But I'm almost due. Plus I'm so lazy.

Cami: Don't worry, you won't have to do a thing. We'll do everything for you. (Smiled)
