Chapter 39: Leon or Chris?

Ludmi: You're joking right?

Jacob: I'm not mi amor. That's really the guy.

Vilu: Are you sure? Maybe you saw someone that looked like him or something?

Jacob: No, I'm really sure that's him. He's the one.

Ludmi: Oh my god. Chris?! Of all the people, Chris?!

Vilu: I can't believe it.

Ludmi: Neither can I.

Vilu: I think we should go talk to him.

Ludmi: TALK to him?! Are you nuts? I'm absolutely not going to-

Vilu: Thank you so much for your help Jacob. (Smiled and pulled Ludmila's hand)

Jacob: (Smiled and waved) You're welcome mi amor.

Ludmi: Let GO of me. I don't wanna talk to him.

Vilu: We have to tell him the truth. He needs to know about this.

Ludmi: (Groaned)

Chris: So yeah I think tomorrow is best. What do you think?

Vilu: Chris.

Chris: (Turned) Violetta? What are you doing here?

Vilu: I need to talk to you.

Chris: Huh, I see you brought that one with you as well. What for? So that she can protect you from me?

Ludmi: NO but if I have to I will!

Vilu: Look, I need to tell you something important.

Chris: Tell me then. I'm waiting.

Vilu: 2 days ago... were you in this bar during the night?

Chris: Uhm... yeah?

Vilu: What were you doing here?

Chris: What was I doing here?! Uhm hello, it was happy hour. Do you think I would've missed the chance to get drinks at such a low price?!

Vilu: Did you uhm.... see Leon?

Chris: That asshole? No I didn't see him. Why?! Was he here?!

Vilu: Uhm... yeah he was.

Chris: Oh, great. I didn't see him and I don't care. Is this the important thing you're supposed to tell me?!

Vilu: No-

Chris: Forget it, I have alot of things to do Violetta.

Vilu: No but-

Chris: I don't care about Leon so don't ever talk to me about him again. (Was about to go)

Vilu: CHRIS you're the father to one of Leon's colleague's.

Chris: (Turned around) Excuse me?

Vilu: Leon and her came here 2 days ago. The next thing you know she's pregnant.

Chris: So you think I'm the father?!

Vilu: I guess...

Chris: Are you crazy?! What makes you think I'm the father?!

Vilu: I asked a person here and they said they saw you entering a room with her.

Chris: WHAT?! That's Impossible. For all you know it could've been Leon.

Vilu: He said he didn't do it.

Chris: Oh yeah and you believe him because he's your sweet husband but not me?!

Vilu: I never said that.

Chris: This is crazy Violetta. I didn't sleep with anyone.

Ludmi: Oh, come on Chris. Don't act all innocent. Isn't that's what you're known for? Sleeping around?

Chris: UHM NO, that's what I'm known for to you. But I didn't sleep with anyone, I swear.

Ludmi: Oh, really? So where's your girlfriend, Caitlyn?

Chris: In case you don't know, we both aren't together anymore.

Ludmi: Oh, lovely. All the more reasons for you to sleep around.

Chris: I DIDN'T SLEEP AROUND.

Ludmi: I don't believe that one second.

Vilu: All right enough. If he said he didn't sleep around or with her then there's nothing else we can do.

Ludmi: So what now?! If we don't find out something, then Leon is the main suspect. You can't just go back and pretend like nothing happened.

Vilu: I guess I'll have to don't I?

Ludmi: No, that's not right.

Vilu: I guess we'll just have to tell Sophia that the father of her baby is not identified yet.

Chris: Wait, Sophia?

Vilu: Yeah... do you know her?

Chris: Yesterday morning when I woke up I found a small business card with the name Sophia in my pocket shirt.

Ludmi: Oh god...

Vilu: Sophia always carries them if she is going for important label meetings or just simply meeting new producer's around town.

Ludmi: How do you know that?

Vilu: Leon told me.

Ludmi: So it's really true then. You slept with her.

Chris: It can't be. I DID?! NO it can't be.

Vilu: Were you drunk?!

Chris: Oh, yeah I was. I was having a really bad hungover.

Ludmi: I guess Sophia was too.

Vilu: But if she did how come she managed to bring Leon back to me?

Ludmi: Did you see her bring him back to you?

Vilu: (Shook her head) No...

Ludmi: That means she didn't. She lied to you about that part.

Chris: Is she really pregnant?

Vilu: Yeah she is and she really is scared.

Chris: Can you bring me to her? I wanna see her.

Ludmi: You sure?

Chris: YES.

The aftermath

Leon: I can't believe it.

Vilu: Chris is the father.

Ludmi: I knew it.
