                                                            AMBER

The next morning I made my way to the house where I knew all my brothers workers would be including Jasmine. I slammed my car door getting out. My brother Lance was on the porch smoking, he smiled when he seen me.

"Hey baby sis." He said, I ignored him and angrily entered inside the house. "Uh oh.." I heard him say, he followed me inside.

Everyone started to look at me and wanted to see what was going on. I walked down the hallway and into the game room my brother had in the house and seen Jasmine playing the game. I unplugged it and rushed at her and started choking her.

"Stupid bitch! Why the fuck would you do that huh?!" I screamed as she struggled to breathe. I then felt some hands come around my waist pulling me off of her.

"Yo what the fuck Amber! What's the matter with you mane'?" Ryan said looking at me like I was crazy. I fixed my eyes back on Jasmine.

"I fucking hate you! If I catch you outside these doors, ima run your ass over bitch." She smirked which pissed me off even more. I lunged at her again and started punching her as much as I could until I was pulled off of her again.

She was huffing and puffing, her lip was busted and she had a knot at the top of her head. "Stay away from me and Robin, or I swear to god I will fucking kill you." I told her before storming out of the house getting in my car and driving off.

Ryan: Yo sis? What was allat for? What did she do? And who the hell is Robin?

Ryan texted. I ignored his message and made my way back to the hospital like I promised. When I got back inside Robin's room, there was another stud sitting in the chair right next to the bed. Her eyes landed on me then back on Robin.

"I'm Dannie...you are?" She asked without even looking at me.

"Amber, just a friend of her's." I told her, she nodded her head looking back up at me.

"How'd yall meet?" She asked me.

"At a club....a few nights ago." I told her. Robin was still in a Coma. Her bruise on her head somewhat healed a little over night.

"I'm her best friend. I actually uh....I actually was on the phone with her last night when it happened..." She said. My eyes shot up.

"Really?" I asked.

"Yeah....she was on her way to meet me at this bar in town, we was gon get a few drinks because she had called me and told me she needed one so I offered. We was in a middle of a conversation when she was on her way when I heard the line go silent from the accident." She said shaking her head rubbing her hand through her dreads.

I wonder why she didn't come to the hospital last night if she knew Robin was here after the accident, story just didn't sit right with me whatsoever.

"Oh ok." I said dryly looking at her. She looked at me for a few seconds before standing up.

"I'm about to go get some Waffle House....you uh...want any?" She asked me. I shook my head no. She nodded and left the room. I was now in the room alone with Robin.

I didn't know if she could hear me or not but I didn't care. I just started talking.

"I'm sorry...Robin. Seriously, I'm very sorry. When I heard that you was in a car accident I got here as soon as I could. I really hope you forgive me. I also got something to tell you.....It's about Jasmine... You probably wouldn't care to hear about it but its...its important and I think you would like to know." I stopped speaking when I seen her mom enter.

"Is she awoke yet?" She asked. I shook my head no. She frowned and sat down at the corner of the bed. She cleared her throat.

"You know...Robin grew up without a father...and I wasn't around so she lived with my mother. I was on serious drugs and I just couldn't care for a child at the time.....so I just gave her away to her grandmother. Robin and I just reconnected this summer and I was relieved to have my daughter back in my life, so all this is just stressing me out because i'm afraid I might lose her again." She said getting emotional.

I felt bad. I wanted to hug her so that's what I did. It was the right thing to do. Her head lifted up at me. I sat back down.

"Amber..are you really just a friend? I can tell just by how you look at my daughter that it seems to be a lil bit more than that." I ignored her intense stare.

"I met Robin at the club a few nights ago and we hit it off pretty well...she took me shopping yesterday, we got into a small altercation and then boom..I'm sitting in a hospital room with her." I explained. Her face went blank.

"Altercation? What about?" She questioned.

"I seen my Ex at the mall and we were looking at each other for too long so I guess Robin took it the wrong way and thought I wanted her back in some way when I didn't so she told me to get out when we got back to her house and told me to hit her line when I knew who I wanted." I answered.

Her mother just looked at me. "She likes you Amber. I can tell. If she makes it out this coma, I need you to do something for me." She said. I gave her my full attention.

"I need you to fix it and be with her. She's such a sweetheart. Your such a wonderful young lady and you two would be perfect together." She said. Robin's mom was pretty cool folks. I nodded my head at her statement.

Robin's Doctor, Doctor Garry entered inside the room with his clipboard.

"I ran her X-ray and she has a scalp wound for sure, its not that bad. It will heal on its own at it's own pace. But can I ask you ladies to leave the room, I have to do a few test. I will come get you ladies once i'm done." Me and Robin's mom nodded our heads and left. I was really hoping these test would come out right.

I wanted to do what Robin's mom insisted. I wanted to fix it and be with Robin.
