A/N hey, hey, wouldn't it be great, great, if we could just lay down and wake up in slow town?

I am so lucky. I have Tyler, an amazing and adorable boyfriend, a job interview today at the record store downtown that Tyler showed me, and a house right across the street from my amazing boyfriend.

I nudge Tyler a little bit, and his eyes flutter open.

"We have to get up now, sorry Ty."

"Why Jish whats the rush?" Those little brown coffee colored eyes are precious. right as he says that, he gives me a look with sadness evident in his eyes.

"well I'm glad you asked Ty," I say, perking up a little bit and propping my head up with my elbow. "I have a job interview at the record store!"

"Jish thats awesome! I'll make sure to come visit you when you get this job, because I just know that they'll love you!"

"Thanks Ty, I'm a bit nervous though."

"Don't be, you'll be great. Oh and thanks for reminding me I should probably get ready for my job. I've taken enough sick days already."

"I'll go get over to my place then, see ya Ty love you"

"Love you Jish"

I give him a small peck on the lips before grabbing my jacket from the foot of his bed and lightly jogging down the stairs. I open his door, and make sure to lock it behind me, then jog across the street and into my house. I left my keys in my coat pocket, so I struggle a bit to open every pocket to find which one holds my keys. Underneath an old wrapper, an m&ms wrapper to be exact, I find my keys, and unlock my front door.

I go upstairs and lay an outfit out on my bed. I have to look presentable for today, right?

I end up choosing black skinny jeans and a Duran Duran t-shirt. I guess I don't have to dress fancy considering its just a record store.

"Hey you must be Josh! here for the interview I hope?"

"Yes, I'm Josh nice to meet you," my eyes squint a little bit, and I lean forward, checking for the name on his name tag "Brendon!"

"Here come take a seat in my office" he says, making air quotes around the word "office" and motioning his arm over to a couch next to some records.

"Haha what a comfortable office" what? okay that's a very weird thing to say. woohoo go you Josh

"We've ben looking for someone who can organize the new shipments of records every week and to sometimes help the customers at the register."

"Sounds good to me!"

"Do you have any experience in retail?"

"Well I worked in a Home Depot in high school. I was in the lawn care supply department."

"Haha well just imagine all those lawn mowers are records and CDs and remember to help people find what their looking for if needed."
