About a month has passed since I was in the hospital, and it took some time to get used to everything that had happened. I spent a few sleepless nights just thinking about Josh, and Blurryface decided to give me a visit nearly every night afterwards.
Blurry has decreased his visits to only once a week now, and I think I'm slowly conquering him.
I've been thinking more and more about music, and how writing it helps get rid of blurry.
Right now Josh and I are doing great, nothing bad has happened since that horrible night. We both have jobs, and we're thinking about adopting a cat :)

Before I go to hop into the car, an Idea comes straight into my head. Josh and I have been talking about adopting a cat for a very long time, so why not surprise him with one?
I start to head to the local pet store, when I think about what name the kitten should have. Something adorable and cute, like rose or ruby or something. Ruby sounds so cute! I pull into the parking lot of the pet store, and rush inside. I shouldn't take too long or Josh will think something's up.
Right when I walk through the doors, I see a small pen filled with about five or six kittens. All of the kittens rolling on top of each other, and swatting one another with their tiny little bean paws.
My eyes fall on one small kitten, sitting nicely in the corner of the pen. The kitten looks up at me, almost as if on cue, and I knew that this was going to be the kitten I was taking home.
"Can I help you find anything today?" A lady with brown hair walks up and asks me.
"Um yes, I'd like to take home this kitten here" I say, while pointing to the smallest kitten of the group.
"Alright! I'll just need you to fill out some paperwork before you can take her home!"
After filling out the paperwork with one hand, and holding an incredibly soft kitten in the other, I hop back into the car, placing Ruby on the passenger seat.
The ride to Josh's job feels like an eternity, and my heart is beating like crazy. Maybe we weren't ready for a cat? Is this like, a big step? I mean, obviously not as big of a step as adopting a child but this is almost that, right?

I walk through the doors to see Josh standing behind the counter, he looks at me, and then down to the kitten. His eyes light up like Christmas lights and his jaw drops halfway to the ground.
"Is, is this ours Ty?"
"Of course Joshie!! surprise!"
"Oh thank you thank you thank youuuu!!!"
"Anything for you Joshie"
