"Are you really serious!!" I cried aloud!
"Why I have to stop my study? I want to do job and I cant back of now! I want to fulfill my dreams." I shouted on my phone.
"But dear you have to understand me. Your father never permit you for the job. Specially for the buisness studies. You know our tradition na.."
"Tradition my foot. I am a human and I have also my own dreams. Do I have no right for fulfilling my own dreams? Why; because I am a girl!!!' I could not stop myself for shouting.
" I know dear but.."
"Maa, now this is enough, I had tolarate many nonsense because of my father!! Now I am NOT going to listen him.!!"
"But.."
I cut the phone and jumped to my bed and started crying.
Why always with me!? Because I am a GIRL. I have no right?
After half an hour I could conrolled my tears.
I have to do things positively and practically. I can't lose my temper because of my father.
Then I took my phone and called my best friend.
"Hi Neha what's up?" My best friend swapna said.
"Swapna my mom called me few time ago and told me that father wants me to stop studing and engage me for home making work." again I started crying.
"What!! Again!! What the hell yaar! Why he always wants to stick with this old fashined thoughts.. Oh God!! Listen to me Neha I am telling to leave your home and come my home and stay with me.. mom also will be happy"
"No swapna, I dont want to a burden for you. My graduation will be over in next week and then I will search for a job and then I will complete my masters with this."
"Stop calling youself a burden all the time. You are not burden. You are my best friend who always stand with me when I am in need. I cant see you like that. Come my home and then do whatever you want to do."
"But..." I said
"No more buts. got that!! I am telling my mom that you are coming next week." She said it with determination..
"Ok" I weep my tears.
"Good night" Swapna said.
"Good night" I replied back.
I really need a job and need a change of my complex life!
I will fulfill my dream of working in a buisness company and I will prove my father that I am not a burden of being a girl!
After putting my phone on the study table I went for sleep.
