Continued From The Past...

Since our last meeting his those words were coming into my mind again and again. I didn't know how I supposed to react in it. I was getting mixed feelings.

Yes, after his confession I had spent three whole days to analyse my emotions for him and finally today I understood it was more than childhood friendship love.

I was grooming my hair just before going to the bed, suddenly a Dasee (female servant) came to my room. She was holding a hurricane lantern into her hand.

I took the lantern and went out from my room. Walking on the corridor I covered my face upto my cheeks and hurried to the downstairs.

After taking few turns I reached to Father's cell; entering into the room I saw Mother sitting next to Father with my other step mothers. Father was smiling at me and nodded his head with an agreement for coming near him.

I went to him; he patted his right hand to the seat next to Mother. I sat beside her and she hugged me with happiness.

Which is unexpected from her as I can't remember when she has hold me into her arms last time!

"My dear daughter Devarati, you always make me proud!" He said smilingly, Mother had loosen her grip from me, also smiling.
