This one week was very tough for me. I had gone through many things. Finally I was graduate now. I could do some job to save money for my masters.

Now I was living with my best friend in her home. Aunty was very happy to see me. I and Swapna were friends from the childhood day. We used to be in same school and same standard.

My father was always against my higher studies. According to him we girls should stay at their home for home making and after some decent education at schools we should marry some guy for our living.

Like girls are not capable of surviving their own, can't earn for feeding themselves!

This was our family tradition. But I was always against in it. My nature was always defensive which leaded me in this situation.

I was the only girl in my family who was graduate and preparing for the job in business.

But I couldn't do anything without my brother Arnav. He was the one who always gave me courage and stood against my father for me.

The the people whom I considered as my 'family' were my brother, mother, Swapna to whom I could share my feelings, ambitions and personal needs and Pratik who was just like my own brother.

After graduation I went to my house to meet with my Maa (Mother) and Bhai (brother).

I told my father about my decision of doing job and as expected he didn't give a thought on it.But I was not a person to leave it and tamed by his patriarchal beliefs.

After many shouting, tears and of course with the help of my brother I got the what I wanted.

I won my first battle against the odd and stepped towards the first ladder of success!

But sadly Father told me if I choosed my job and study then I had to leave the house. So with a heavy heart for leavinh my brother and mother and for my shining future, I choosed my job.

and I left my home...

Maa was crying and brother was upset when I was packing my baggage for leaving from here. But it didn't stop me. I choose to be a fighter in open forest rather than staying in the golden cage.

Just when I was stepping out from the main gate of 'our' house, bhai (brother) hold my right hand with his left hand and came closer to my right ear.

"Don't worry about anything; I will make up everything! Just live your life as you want!" He whispered, this time smilingly.

I couldn't hold my tears for long and hugged him tightly.

For the last time before leaving, I guess!

Then I turned my direction towards the main gate and left this golden cage forever.

So yeah, these days were really tough for me as hell both physically and emotionally!
