::Watchers' translator::

Spock p.o.v.

It had been four days since the Yautja breeding time, Mercy and Watcher looked to be back into their normal behavior except for Watcher looking at Uhura more often. I also noticed Mercy staring at me more often. I wondered what this was about, but I pushed the thought aside and continued my work.

I heard Chekov asked Mercy something. "Vere is ze Yautja home planet?"

"Yes. Where is your home planet?" I repeated Chekovs' question only louder. Jim looked interested too.

"Yautja Prime is located exactly one hundred Earth years away from Earth. In this quadron." Mercy pointed out on a holo-map of the milky-way galaxy that came out of her wrist gauntlet.

::This of course is without using warp. With warp it would take one day.:: Watcher said using the translator we made for him.

"I for one would love to see your planet." Jim said.

"I agree with Captain Kirk." I agreed.

"What do you think Watcher? Do you want to see home?" Mercy asked her brother.

"Sei-i." He agreed.

Jim looked to me. "He said yes." I translated.

"Good, give us our heading Mercy." Jim ordered.

She nodded and placed the coordinates into the navigator and allowed everyone else to do their job. And on our way to Yautja Prime we went.

The next day when we came upon the red and green planet Mercy and Watcher were staring at the surface. "Something's wrong." Mercy said.

"What?" Jim asked.

::There would usually be ships flying both off the planet and onto it. But there is nothing.:: Watcher said.

"And there would be lights all over the planet showing exactly where all the temples and palaces are." Mercy continued. "But its dark."

"Mr.Spock." Jim said.

"Yes Captain?" I asked.

"We are taking Mercy and Watcher to the surface along with Bones." Jim ordered.

"Captain. May I go as well?" Uhura asked.

"Sure. It doesn't hurt to have more translators." Jim said.

We took the Yautja ship that belonged to Watcher and Mercy down to the planets' surface.

They didn't allow us to touch any controls.....we wouldn't be able to read any of it anyway. I noted to ask Mercy to teach me their written language. They skillfully landed us on a launch pad where there were bigger ships most looked in disrepair.

They shut the ship off and they gave us face masks that only covered the mouth and nose as they said the Yautja air may be too toxic to anyone not used to it. Mercy's mother had to wear one until she was given some Yautja blood which extended her life and gave her the ability to breathe the air. It was exactly 4% more nitrogen and 1% more oxygen than on Earth or Vulcan.

We left the small vessel and walked onto the sandy ground of Yautja Prime.

"Something is very wrong." Mercy said.

"What?" Jim asked.

::We would have seen Yautja run up to us by now either in greeting or with weapons aimed at our necks.:: Watcher replied.

We walked up to what looked to be a temple. The door was closed and sealed. Next to the door was a strange mechanism. Watcher extended his wrist blade and placed it in the center of the mechanism then turned it. The sound of rock moving was heard then the creaking of the door as it opened. Inside was something that made me remember when Vulcan was destroyed.
