Bellow and Mendez have squashed their beef but are assigned to desk duty due to their dispute. Bellow is handing paper for traffic violations. Mendez is telling stories as usual to the female officers to get attention. Mils is in his office drinking a cup of coffee. All of a sudden a woman walks in with a young boy. Bellow notices the boy and his face grows cold. It the same boy that Mendez tackled in front of Bailridge High school. Bellow stands up and tries to stop the woman in her tracks.

"Hello miss, can I help you with something?" Bellow asks.

The boy look up at Bellow in terror. His breath becomes staggered.

"T-That's him mom. He was there when the other policeman knocked me down" The boys says.

The boys mother squints her eyes at Bellow.

"Where is your boss? You won't get away with attacking my son!" The woman yells.

The room goes silent. Mendez notices the confrontation. He gets up and walks up to Bellow. He boy hides behind his mother.

"That's the man that pushed me" The boy mumbles.

The boys mother become angry. She winds her hand back and smacks it across Officer Mendez's face. She continues to hit him. The other officers in the room rush over to break up the fight. Bellow stands stiff and watches the events unfold. Lt. Mils runs out and grabs the woman.

" Please miss calm down!" Lt. Mils pleads as he is pulling her towards his office.

"Not until these two pay for hurting my fucking son!" The woman says with tears coming down her eyes.

Lt. Mils leads her into his office and the boy follows closely behind. The whole room looks at Mendez as he straightens himself. Mendez looks around and the sight he sees angers him. He storms out the room but kicks down a trash can before he does. Bellow is still standing there in shock. A hand grips his shoulder softly. This makes Bellow jump a little bit. It's one of the female officers.

"A lot different than Summerville police, right?" She says.

Bellow lets out a snicker. The female officer walks back to her desk. Bellow walks to Lt. Mils office. He knocks on the door. Lt. Mils gets up from his chair and opens the door.

"It's not a good idea to be here right now. Go home. I will hear your side of the story tomorrow" Lt. Mils whispers.

Bellow shakes his head in agreement. He turns around and walks towards the exit. He gets to his car and drives out of the parking lot. The whole ride home he thinks about the altercation. When he gets home he takes off his uniform and showers. Afterwards he sits down at his desk and opens up laptop. Bellow opens up a blank word document. He types in one word. "Resignation"
