{CHAPTER 21}
[Ruhaan's life]
Song suggestion| Ankhon Main Ansoon

Ruhaan's POV:

"Just let her in Ruhaan. Trust me she will change everything. She will color your world, just don't wait any longer, please," Abhi said hearing I had given her a day to do whatever she pleases with me.

I didn't speak a word,

"you know you love her right? I know it. I've been hearing it forever. My Mira was like this, and my Mira was like that. If you can't do yourself a favour, do me one please, because I just don't want to keep listening to all that you have to say about her. Jeez.." he paced, running his hands through his jet black hair.

"Look, you love her, she loves you, I know it, so please for God's sake, time is extremely precious, don't waste it. Tell her. Tell her how you feel. Sometimes not all words are spoken through the eyes, you need to raise your voice Ruhaan."

Without saying another word, he walks out to the other guys who were waiting to begin training.

Should I let her in?

{§}

In the next couple of days, I realised that I had gotten used to looking at her. My eyes just wouldn't change direction.

Her every step, made me feel like I was the reason behind her existence, her every word, made my heart flutter like a butterfly.

Everytime she was near me, I felt fireworks erupting inside of me, my heart beat quicken.

She was a breath of fresh air, a candle to my dark.

I couldn't imagine a future, a life without her.

I could see everything with her. A loving married life, a beautiful home, and kids. Just a little her or me, that she would bring into this world.

That was my little fantasy.

I want to change the stereotype of Radha-Kishan with her, prove Kishan could also be Mira's.

I Love Her.

Now all that was left, was to tell her about this. This saturday will be the best day of her life, of my life. I will make my princess feel like one.

But what about the truth?

Should I tell her about.. Mr. Oberoi?

About who Ridhi is?

Mumm...

No!

I can't torture her by revealing all this to her. I can't show her all my scars.. just yet. I don't want to relive those horrid memories.

The ones that stole my childhood.

Flashback:
"Ruhaan go to your room"

"But mumma.."

"Ruhaan, please don't argue with me now. He'll be home any moment. You know what'll happen if he sees you" she said ushering me up the stairs,

"But what about you mumma?" I asked feeling worried about her.

"Don't worry about me love, c'mon now up the st-" she was interrupted with the sound of a car coming to a screeching halt, "Ruhaan... Run.. now!"

Without looking back once, I obeyed her, running to my room and locking the door behind me. A maid knocked on the door trying to have me eat my meal,

"Master Ruhaan, please, you have to eat something. You haven't eaten all day" she said sounding genuinely worried.

"I'm not hungry Maria."

"Very well then. It's outside your door if you feel hungry throughout the night."

Screams filled the mansion as my fingers blocked my ears, muffling all the sound coming from down stairs.

Tears ran down my face.

Why God? Why us?

But there was no God. I had left all the little belief I had in God long back.

God were only for those, who had money. Other than that, there was no greater power.

Soon the scream died out, and well past midnight, I unlocked the door, pulling the tray inside, once again locking it behind the tray.

Sitting on the floor, and leaning my head on the door frame, I looked out the window at the shining moon, eating my first grain of food today. Food which was cold as ice.

The same old peas and mashed potatoes.

One day, I'll be dining in five star restaurants with my mum, eating a buffet, and having parties. Living a life like normal people.

Without fear.

Without the fear of running into our rooms as the clock struck 6.

"Will this ever get better?" I question myself, a lone tear escaping my eye.

Flashback ends.

I wipe my eyes free of any dispersing liquid.

I just wanted to give an insight on Ruhaan and his pain so here it is..
