Myra's POV:

As I turned around, I saw three men.

Abhi and Ruhaan who stood with their arms crossed above their chests and the.......

The Principal!?

My hand went straight to my face as I gasped in shock.

"I will deal with you two boys later" he said to Abhi and Ruhaan before turning to me,

"Miss. JaiSingh...." he sighed closing his eyes, "please report to my office after your lecture" he said sternly before turning around and walking back to his office.

I gulped.

"Okaaayyyy then..... did you seriously just yell Ruhaan's name out and the Principal asked you to report to his office after the lecture or am I just dreaming and need a reality check?" Abhi questioned as I stared at the floor.

"uh.... actually it's my fault" Nia came forward and held my hand, "I challenged her."

"Are you serious? Why would you do that Nia? What kind of a fu**ing retard comes up with challenges and dares like this? Are you crazy woman?"

suddenly, hearing Ruhaan's voice for the first time in so many days made me jump a little.

"Watch it okay? She didn't mean it. I'm sure she was joking. There is no need to swear. Why are you calling her names?" Abhi was furious after what Ruhaan had said.

"Look man, I didn't intend on calling anyone a retar-" Abhi pushed Ruhaan and he hit the wall.

"What the hell mate? What was this for?" Ruhaan asked walking forward, only to be pushed back again by Abhi.

"Abhi please. There is no need to get violent" Nia spoke on my behalf as seeing them in this state just paralysed me.

"No Nia, it's enough. What does he think of himself?" Abhi replied pushing Ruhaan into the wall once again.

"Are you seriously gonna break our childhood friendship because of a girl?" Ruhaan questioned trying to distance Abhi and himself.

"She's not any girl Ruhaan."

That was the last time Abhi pushed Ruhaan into the wall as now Ruhaan had pushed Abhi.

"So be it" and that was the last Ruhaan said before he walked off angrily.

Nia and I just stood there, trying to absorb all that has happened.

"Nia, I-"

Nia showed Abhi her palm indicating he should stop speaking as a tear rolled down her cheek,

"eeen...enough."

Pulling me along, she began walking towards the exit.

"Miss. JaiSingh, what should I make of the scene that happened in the corridor?" the Principal, Mr. Earl asked as I stood in front of him, as he sat on his desk, with my arms behind my back.

"Sir, I-"

"There is no need. It's such a disgrace to think that a capable student as you would perform such an act. Disrupting the learning of your fellow students, it's-it's extremely shameful I believe."

"I-I apo-logise sir" my voice was shivering, "I didn't me-"

"Look Miss. JaiSingh, such behaviour will not be tolerated at this university. This is one of the finest institutes in the whole of England. I will shortly be in contact with your Guardians'."

I looked up.

A lone tear rolled down my cheek.

"You may leave."

As my anger increased, so did the speed of the car.

I can't believe Abhi could do something like this.

He just broke off a friendship of many years in a second like it meant nothing.

I picked up the bottle of whisky that was sitting in the cup holder. The warm, burning liquid cascaded down my throat. My eyes closed feeling the liquid flow down slowly. The next I knew, the car lost balance and I flew through the windscreen.
