Chapter 4- I did reject her

Jughead and Betty have been getting close. To close for my liking but I did reject her when I told her I liked her. I guess I just assumed she would always be with me no matter what I do.

I sigh as a get up for school. Betty of course is at her vanity. She seems to be singing while putting on makeups.

Girls are mysterious man.

I go downstairs and start making toast and eggs.

"Hey dad." I smile as he walks downstairs.

"Hey bud. Whatcha making?" He asked.

"Eggs and toast," I replied, "want some?"

"I'm good. Just a cup of coffee." He starts starting a new brew.

I quickly eat my breakfast and wait for Betty outside.

"Hey Archie!" She smiled as she steps out.

"Hey bets." I smile at her.

"What are you doing this weekend?" She asks as we walk to school.

"Honestly, nothing. What about you?" I reply.

"I was wondering if you wanted to come camping with Veronica, Jughead and I in the woods behind my house." She smiles.

"Yeah! I'd love too." I said getting all excited.

I loved spending time with all of them. It was always so much fun.

When we get to school she goes straight to her locker while I go to mine.

I open my locker when I feel someone's hand on my hips which made we jump.

"It's just me." Jughead says, coming into my view.

I sigh with relief and look at him "Hey Juggie"

"Hey bets. Jumpy today?" He smiled.

"I'm always jumpy." I chuckle.

"So what are you doing this weekend?" I ask.

"Just writing Sunday. Why?" He asked.

"Wanna come over tonight and go amping in the woods behind my house?" I smiled.

"You gonna make me a S'more?" He asked.

"Hell yah." I replied, closing my locker.

"Then I'm coming." He smiled.

I smile and hug him as the bell rings. "Meet me here after school!" I smile.

About 7 hours later school is over. Thank god.

I walk to my locker and see Jughead standing there.

"Hey!" I say walking up to him.

"Hey Bets." He smiled.

"Wanna come over early and set up?" I asked.

"Yeah, sounds good." He smiles. He was chewing on his lip a little which need I say was really hot.

I feel my cheeks start to light up so I turn to my locker and open it.
