Chapter 24- Fears

It's been a one mouth since Jughead broke up with Betty.

As for Jughead he has been locking himself in his house and only talking to Archie. He has been silent at school and is doing anything to avoid Betty.

Now for the last three weeks Betty has been crying and crying. Shes as skinny as a rail and finds it hard to talk to anyone. But this past week Veronica and Kevin have really helped her. Oh! And did I forget to mention Betty has a new boyfriend, Reggie. Yep he was also there for her and was really sweet. The only problem is Reggie cheats on her a lot. She chooses to ignore it because she thinks he will make her happy again.

Now back to the story.

3RD PERSON POV-

Betty, Archie and Veronica were all sitting at there normal booth at Pop's when Jughead Jones made an unexpected appearance.

Archie and Betty look up as the smile disappears from Betty's face.

Veronica turns around and sees Jughead then starts to stand up and walk towards him but Betty pulls her back.

"I'll go talk I him." Archie says standing up and walking over.

Betty and Veronica go back to there conversations while Betty occasionally looks at Jughead.

Archie pulls Jughead into a Booth. "Hey how are you?" Archie asks.

"What do you think?" Jughead sighed. "Uhhh hows Betty?" Jughead asked looking over at her.

"Jughead" Archie said looking down at his lap. "She has another boyfriend"

Jughead was frozen. How could she have moved on that fast?

Jughead let out a chuckle. "Your lying"

Archie shook his head slowly. "I wish I was Jug"

Jughead sat there for a few minutes then stood up and went out the door.

Archie tried to run after him but he was to fast. Archie walked back inside and sat with Veronica.

"Betty's in the bathroom." Veronica said. "But what happen back there"

"Jughead didn't take the fact that Betty moved on to well" Archie said.

"Is he fucking serious. He's the one that broke her heart. He doesn't deserve to be mad." Veronica whisper shouted.

"Shhh" Archie whispered as Betty came out of the bathroom and sat back down.

"W-where did Jughead go?" Betty asked looking around.

"Oh uhh he left" Archie shuddered.

Just then Reggie and some other guys from the football team walked in. Betty smiled softly when she saw Reggie.

Reggie smiled and walked over to the booth then bent down next to Betty. "Hey Betty" he said, kissing her forehead

Betty smiled and let out a soft giggle.

Archie and Veronica rolled there eyes.

When Reggie walked away Archie turned to Betty. "Why do you stay with a guy that cheats on you." Archie asked.

Betty swallowed. "Because it's not like anyone better wants me." Betty said as her eyes filled with Tears.

Archie wrapped his arms around Betty and stroked her hair. "That's not true Bets" Archie said in a soothing voice. "That's not true"
