Chapter 53- As his face went pale

I woke up in a cold sweat. Everything from that dream felt so real.

Would I really be the cause of Betty's death?

She hasn't worked up. It hasn't been confirmed that she's in a coma but I'm pretty positive she is.

FUCK.

I sat up on my hospital bed. It was the best morning.

I paged the nurses and requested that they give me the phones. It was a bit of an argument at first but they finally agreed.

After a few minutes I was holding her phone. She has so many fucking texts. Damn.

I scroll through and see the Archie guy from earlier.

To Arch
Hi.
Sent at 10:08am.

From Arch.
Oh god! Betty you're ok
Received at 10:23am.

To Arch.
Umm actually this is the guy from yesterday. Jason. Betty's at the hospital. Car accident.
Sent at 10:39am.

That last message took so long to type. I did it know what to say.

Jughead's POV

I stared at Archie once his phone dung for the second time. I knew something was wrong when I saw him go pale.

Veronica, Archie, Kevin and Cheryl had all slept over at my place last night. I stayed up with Archie and Veronica all night to wait for Betty.

When she didn't end up coming we all panicked.

Finally after a few minutes of silence and Archie fiercely typing his screen he looked up at us.

"Get the fucking car started." Archie said.

We didn't even ask questions. We just hopped in the car.

The other three squeezed in the back while Archie and I sat in the front.

"Where to?" I asked starting the car.

"The hospital." Archie said very quickly.

The whole car was dead silence while Archie explained what happen.

3rd person's pov-

Jughead was in the lobby pacing. He was biting his nails, well at least what was left of them. Veronica was sitting with her head on Cheryl's shoulder.

Jason was soon let out of the hospital because he only had very small injuries.

"Is she ok?!" Archie said, running up to him.

Jason only stared at his shoes. "N-no clue but the doctors said she's up. So is penny" He answered.

Jughead walked over to him "Can we go see her?"

"One at a time." Jason answered.

"Go ahead man." Archie said patting Jughead on the back, indicating that he could go in first.

When I stepped in the room all I could hear was coughing.  She sounded horrible.

I quickly gulped and walked over to her bed.

She looked at me and blinked. "J-Jughead? How the-" I quickly cut her off.

"Jason" I took her hand and squeezed it lightly in mine.

She looked at our hands and then looked at me. "I'm sorry. I probably look like a mess.." She said, blushing from embarrassment.

"No no. Not at all." I smiled at her.

This was true. Even for a girl just in a car crash she still looked amazing. Her soft pink lips, light eyes. God she looked beautiful.

She started coughing again. I handed her the glass of water next to her bed.

She chugged it quickly then put it next to her again.

"Are they ok?" She said looking very worried.

"Who?" I asked.

"Jason and Penny."

"Penny has a broken rib but other then that she's fine."

"Good." She smiled.

Yes Jason and Kevin are gonna be a couple. Also would you guys be ok with me doing one chapter just on them? It would just be a really cute gay chapter.

If you really like it then I may make a separate book about them.
