3rd Person POV-

Kevin and Jughead stepped out then took Veronica and Betty's hand to help them get out.

They all looked at the bright likes and flashing that was coming from the gym.

They all looked at each other and smiled as Archie stepped out of the car and put his arm around the two girls. "You guys Ready?" Archie smiled.

"Duh!" Veronica said hitting his chest playfully.

Betty just smiled and looked at Jughead. Jughead kisses her forehead then took her hand.

"You ready?" Jughead smiled.

"Yeah" she said taking a deep breath then moving her eyes back to the door.

As they all walked up the stairs it felt like the world was in slow motion. They walked into the room and multiple eyes were on them. They walked past everyone to an empty table in the corner.

"I'll go get the drinks." Archie said, pushing through the crowd.

Betty nodded and stared at the dance floor.

"I don't suppose you wanna dance?" Jughead said with his hands in his pockets

Betty chuckled and smiled. "I'd love too"

Jughead smiled and took Betty's hand. He lead her to the dance floor and smiled.

As a slow song came on Jughead put his hands on Betty's waist and smiled. Betty wrapped her arms around Jughead's neck and put her head on his chest as they slowly moved back and forth.

Jughead kissed Betty's head and kept swaying.

Archie came back with the drinks and put them down "we're are b-" he managed to say before Veronica hit him on the chest.

"Shhh!" She scolded as she pointed to Betty and Jughead.

Archie sat down and sighed. Why couldn't he be the one with Betty right now? Why did he reject her when she first told him? Why wasn't he the one that was able to kiss her?

Archie looked at them again then chugged his drink like it was a shot, even though it was fruit punch.

Archie sighed and pulled his phone out of his pocket.

Veronica looked over at Archie. "You ok?" She asked looking at him.

"Yeah just Betty and Jughead" he sighed.

"You still like her huh?" Veronica sighed.

"Yeah" Archie looked down.

"Well you were the one that broke her heart because you thought it was uncool to tell Betty you felt the same way in front of the football team so I don't even feel bad." Veronica said.

Archie roles his eyes and looked up as he saw Miss Grundy walk in.

Archie's face turned pale and his mouth dropped.

"What is it Arch?" Betty said walking over. She made eye contact with her and her eyes widened.

Veronica, Jughead and Kevin looked over at Miss Grundy and gasped.

Jughead put his arm protectively around Betty as she walked over.

Archie looked away and stared at the stage not wanting to look at her.

"What do you want" Veronica growled.

"I need to talk to Archie" she said adjusting her pink heart glasses and pulling them up to the top of her head.

"Whatever you have to say you can say to all of us" Archie said, turning to look at her.

"Oh well...ok" Grundy sighed. "I-I'm pregnant with your child"

Everyone's eyes widened. Archie stood up with his hands in his pockets and walked off.

"I'll go get him" Betty said.

"I'll go with you" Jughead said as he took her and ran off.

"You are disgusting" Kevin said before him and Veronica walked off.

Jughead and Betty pushed through the crowd trying to find Archie.

They went out the back door near the dumpster and saw him sitting against the school wall.

Betty walked over and squatted next to him. "Hey" she said in a soft voice as Jughead sat on the other side of Archie.

Archie's head was in his hands. Betty slowly rubbed his back.

"It's ok" she whispered.

"Archie we want you to know that we will be here for you no matter what, ok?" Jughead said.

Betty nodded and hugged Archie. "It's ok" she said stroking his hair.

Jughead rubbed his back and hugged him.

Later.. after prom.

Jughead and Betty were walking home hand in hand. "Today was interesting" Betty giggled.

Jughead just smiled. As they stopped in front of Jughead's trailer he looked at Betty and smiled. He took both of her hands as stared in right in the eyes.

"Betty, I love you" he said, taking a deep breath

Betty was a little taken back but she looked back at him and smiled. "I love you Jughead"

Those 3 words symbolized what the felt just 3 little words could change there world.
