Chapter 37- Graduation p.2

3rd Person POV-

Veronica walks into school that day excited to go to college at the school of her dreams with the girl of her dreams only a few miles away.

But Betty felt the opposite. She knew today was a special day and that she should be happy but she just couldn't be. Her and Jughead had broken up also 3 days ago. It was a mutual decision but she still hated it.

Today was also the day everyone was slitting up. Jughead was going to his college, Veronica was going to hers and who knew were the hell Archie was going. He still wouldn't talk to any of them.  It had been a stressful few days but by the end everything would be ok.

Jughead stepped out of his door and shut the door. God damn. He actually was gonna graduate after a bloodline of failures. Finally one of the Jones' have pasted.

Jughead got into his old rusted truck and drove off down the road.

When Jughead arrived he park d his car and ran to the back of the school where he saw Betty leaning against the wall. She saw him and waved.

He walked over and hugged her "Hey" he said in a soft voice.

"Hi" she said holding him tight

Veronica ran over and yelled "hey!"

Jughead and Betty both jump

"AHHHH" Veronica screams. "B! You look amazing!!"

"So do you!" Betty yells back as she hugs her best friend.

Cheryl walks over and crosses her arms. "That's my girlfriend Betty"

Betty let's go of Veronica and looks at Cheryl. "Nice to see you too Cheryl." Betty says rolling her eyes.

As Betty is talking to Cheryl she looks back behind her and sees Archie staring back at her.

She smiles slightly and he proceeds to walk over to her.

"Hey" he says with his hands in his pockets.

"Hi" Betty said looking at the guy who used to be her best friend.

"I'm sorry Betty. I guess after the Grundy thing I cut everyone out. It wasn't just you" Archie said.

"I know but it doesn't mean you have to be an asshole" Betty said.

"Yeah I know. I'll see you at Graduation" Archie said before walking away.

Betty walked over to Jughead and smiled. "Only a month or 2 left in Riverdale"

Jughead sighed and smiled. "I'm gonna miss this place."

"Yeah" Betty said looking down.

Just then over the loud speaker a voice announced that everyone should take there seats because it was starting.

Everyone parted ways and sat in alphabetical order.

Today was the last day on this field, the last day as cheerleaders and the last day having to deal with ever here.
