Chapter 17- That god damn giggle

JUGHEAD'S POV-

It was a two days since we got Betty back. Since then I haven't stopped holding her in my arms and telling her that I'm here for her and that she safe.

She's still pretty messed up after the whole Ethel thing but other then that she's been doing good.

It was a Wednesday morning and everything was quiet for once. No one was coming up to me and asking about Betty or how I was doing. It was actually kinda nice.

I walked to my locker and opened it. I looked over at Betty's locker and saw her standing there, staring at me. I looked at her and chuckled softly. She blushed out of embarrassment then walked over to me.

I smiled and looked at my locker, getting my books out. I glanced at her well putting my books away. "Hey Bets" I smiled.

"Hey Juggie!" She giggled.

That god damn giggle. It makes me wanna pick her and kiss her but I'll try to control myself.

I smile and close my locker. "How you feeling today?" I say.

"Pretty Good" she smiles.

"That's nice to hear." I smile and look down at her hand. I slowly take her hand in mine and lace them. Her face turns red and she smiles.

"Wanna go to Pop's after school for some Burgers and Milkshakes?" I say, looking at her.

"Only if we can come" I hear as I feel an elbow on my shoulder.

Betty giggles and I role my eyes playfully.

"Hey Veronica and Archie" I say, chuckling.

"So all of us Pop's after school?" Veronica asks.

I shrug. "Fine with me but I call sitting next to Betty"

Archie and Betty laugh.

Veronica fake gasps and looks at me. "I wanted to sit next to her"

"To bad! She's my girlfriend" I say before throwing my arms around Betty.

Betty smiled and cuddles into my arms.

Veronica playfully pouts and frowns.
