Danielle went to a lot less parties now that she had a girlfriend. Sometimes she missed it, but their lazy movie nights made up for it.
She was feeling insecure though. About herself, about them.
"Do you ever feel like you're wasting time?" She asked, head popping out of Lauren's arms.
"I mean sure, when I'm on my phone while I need to study and stuff, why?"
Danielle sighed, "no, I mean like, us, with me, this".
Lauren furrowed her brows, "what do you mean?"
"Like, what if I fail, what if I can't do it, will you feel like you wasted your time?"
Lauren kissed the top of her head. "If you do fail, which I'm sure you won't, I still won't feel that way", she reassured, "sure, I'll be hurt, and it'll suck, but what happens, happens, and I'll be damned if that's what's keeping me back from being with you".
Danielle looked up at her and smiled.
"You really have that much faith in me?"
Lauren nodded, "you're an amazing girl, my love, and you're not out here to hurt people, I know that".
"Well what if I do hurt you?"
"You have, and look, I got over it". She said as she rubbed her back. "Stop doubting yourself baby".
Danielle mumbled and burrowed her face into Lauren's tummy.
"Wanna hear a secret?" Lauren asked.
"Hmmm", mumbled Danielle.
"I love you, so, so much" Lauren whispered.
Danielle's heart felt as though it was going to burst. She pulled her girlfriends head down and kissed her with everything she had in her.
"And I want to waste my entire youth with you, and I want to waste my adulthood with you, and you know what, scratch all of that, I want us to be that annoying ass couple at the nursery home".
Danielle grinned, "yea? That long?"
"Even longer", Lauren answered.
Danielle leaned up and kissed over the lovebites she left the day before, maybe she was a bit possessive, she didn't care though, Lauren's reactions to them were everything.
Lauren pulled her up so she was sitting straight in her lap. She pecked her lips and hummed. "We gonna keep that annoying 'making out everywhere' thing as well?" She asked.
"Of course", Danielle scoffed as she started kissing her girlfriend. "Why wouldn't we?"
Lauren's hands slid to Danielle's bum, who smiled into their kiss. Lauren cocked an eyebrow.
"Their rightful place isn't it?"
Lauren laughed and nodded, "damn right it is".
She trailed her lips over Lauren's jaw, making her way to her ear.
"I forgot to tell you, I wanna waste my entire youth with you as well".
"Yea?"
"Yea".
"God I love you", Danielle whispered.
"It's a good thing I love you too then", Lauren whispered back.
"Can we take this upstairs and have really sappy sex?"
"If you promise you'll sleep over tonight", Lauren answered.
"Pinky promise".
