-"Can we just have some rest for hell's sake ? Nick sighed.
Many alarms went suddenly on and some violent turbulences started hitting the rocket obliging us to grasp on anything within our reach to not fall.
-"Imminent danger, 5 obstacles detected . 5 obstacles detected . The robotic voice said .
-"Guys , I need help ! Leilah shouted .
The satellites were dangerously approaching , and their size seemed to rise by the second . If one of them came to hit the rocket , it would be an imminent death for the four of us .
-"COMING , I yelled for Leilah to hear me , ignoring my pain in the head .
I could bearly feel my leg when I tried to move to where Leilah and Kyle were. When I took a look down , I realized with terror that one of them was gravely injured in the knee because of the sudden fall earlier. It was a miracle that I could reach Leilah's level to control the knob with her. But the time that took me to move , the satellites were just few miles away and I could distinguish the two big wings of each one and many other little details from the big metallic structure to the antenna on the top . My heart started beating fast at the view .
-"First obstacle hitting in 5 seconds ."
These 5 seconds were so fast that I lost for a moment the control knob. Leilah didn't waste any second and instantly made the rocket turn 90 degrees to the left , making the pressure and the horizontal gravity go up all of a sudden .
-" TURN IT AROUND WITH MEEEEEEEE ! She yelled , forcing on the knob with all the energy she's got .
I could hear behind me the sound of objects falling because of the gravity , immediately covered by the sound of scrapping made by the friction between one of the satellite wings and the fuselage of the rocket.
-"Oh my god ! Leilah said . NICK , WHAT ARE THE DAMAGES ?
-" Looks like the exterior barrier got hit really bad ! Nick's voice shouted behind us .
That was really close . If Leilah engaged the turn 1 millisecond earlier , the damages would be more than exterior .
-"Obstacle successfully avoided. 4 obstacles successfully shoot . The computer voice said as the rocket started to slowly gaining attitude .
-"Succesfully shoot ? Leilah asked , breathing hard .
Indeed, Kyle and I saw the 4 explosions that just occurred above us , shattering the 4 other satellites to million peaces . No one knew what was the origin of these , and I didn't honestly want to know. Leilah , who was busy trying to gain control over the rocket was confused.
-"You dumba**es . Nick suddenly sighed , looking at the window behind us.
-"What now Blastbaster ?
Leilah was obviously close to hit him in the face and throw him to space if she had the choice . I knew her 5 years ago and I never had the chance to see this shady side of her.
-"Come on here and look. We had a shooting system and we could shoot those f**king obstacles instead of risking our lives and avoiding them like you did , you b*tch .
He wasn't wrong . Indeed , when I took a look at the window , I saw some of the other Dodgers with an open door at the front showing what resembled to an enormous shooting gun , attacking the other satellites coming in their way .
-"But wait . Kyle asked . How did they know we had a shooting system?
Everyone naturally looked at Leilah , expecting an answer .
