V. Broken Dreams

I look at the stars above me
Are you watching them, too?
Do you remember the times
when we both reached out to them?

That was our dream
We promised to achieve together
Back then, when we were young
We promised we'd all stay forever

You said,
That when the time comes when we'll get separated
We'll get sad and cry
But you told me that our tears will lead us back to each other

I believed in your words
and waited for you
I looked for you in every corner of the world
but where were you?

I wonder now,
have you forgotten about me?
Have you decided not to cry
so the tears won't lead back to me?

I wonder now while looking at the star
Your heart from me, how far?
Tell me, will I reach you with my fingertips
Or will they just get tired waiting for nothing?
