VIII. Someday

I see your face everywhere
I feel an empty spot in my heart
Why are you so far from me?
When will we not be apart?

Taking a deep breath
I tell myself
I can't always be happy
So I'll just wait when I can finally be

I'll see you someday
Or maybe even hold you
If everything becomes perfect,
Can you hold my hand so it won't end?

Blinking back tears
I tell myself not to lose hope
But you're so far away from me
And maybe you're one of my dreams I could never reach

If I sing your song endlessly,
Will you appear in front of me?
If I call out your name tirelessly,
Will you answer back?

Shining in front of my eyes,
I hope you never lose that glimmer
I'll scream your name forever
Until it reaches out to you

I wrote this poem when I couldn't go to BTS's concert here in Philippines. I hope someday I'll see them.
