VII. I Still Think Of You

Another day passes by
But I still think of you
I still search for your unknown goodbye
You left me out of the blue

I still think of the memories of you and me
Those times when I felt your warm embrace
The lullabies you sang to me still play in my mind
You were always there for me whenever I needed solace

But now you're gone
I still wonder what would have happened if I were there for you
I just wanted to make you happy
But I didn't notice everything else was fading away

I wish you were still here
To watch me reach my dreams
I wish you were still here
To listen to the songs I dedicate to you

But you're up there, aren't you?
Watching me from above
Are you proud of me now?
Do you hear my voice calling out to you?

I love you, I'll always will
I hope you're happy there
I hope you're receiving all the love you deserve
I haven't given enough to you

While I sing on stage in front of a thousand  people,
I still search for your beautiful face
And when I hear them applauding
I imagine your face looking proud of me

I will reach my dreams for you
Thank you for everything you've done
When the time comes and I'll leave the world
Can we meet up there?
