(10) Winter Soldier Part 3

Tony p.o.v.

I laid on my couch in Malibu waiting for Lucinda. I couldn't move without a lot of pain do I resolved myself to just sit where I was.

A blue-green vortex opened up not far from where I was and Lucinda walked out of it holding medical supplies as well as what looked like a remote of some sort. She pressed a button on the remote and the vortex closed. Then she saw me her face didn't change much but I could see an underlying concern for me and that warmed whatever was left of my heart.

"What happened?" She asked. Taking out a stethoscope and a few other medical instruments.

"Attack." Was all I could get out of my mouth before I had a coughing fit, which hurt my ribs.

"Alright. Can you sit up?" She asked.

I sat up as much as I could. She felt around my head looking for a concussion no doubt.

"Do you feel nauseous or dizzy?" She asked.

I slowly shook my head no.

"Good." She said a small barely there smile on her face.

Lifeguards p.o.v.

Steve and I met up with the others and informed them what had happened. Director Fury wasn't happy about it either. If anything the ole Pirate was pissed about the situation, "It would appear someone is trying to send a message." Fury said as he played the footage from Tony's attacker via satellite.

He turned to look at me, "That guy isn't on any of our data banks nor does he exist."

"I know who he is, he was outside of the Tower when Cemetary wind tried to attack us. What I would love to know is how he got ahold of pretender tech." I said.

"You know who he is?" Fury asked.

"I heard stories and saw him myself sir, that is Lockdown. He is a Decepticon Bounty Hunter who hunts Autobots." I said.

Fury looked, pardon the pun, 'Furious' when I said that. "He is after Optimus Prime, we can't even find him ourselves."

That's when it clicked Tony being attacked and- "Son of a glitch." I said and began to run to the elevator.

Steve right on my heels, "What is it?" Steve asked.

"In the famous words of one Admiral Ackbar. ITS A TRAP!" I said.

"Are you sure you want to do this?" Fury asked following.

"What choice do I have they are going to find out sooner or later." I said, "Jarvis once we clear the building, activate the ground bridge I just gave you access to it."

"Of course Miss Tron, should I warn your sister?" asked Jarvis.

"No, she will figure it out when we get there." I said.

When we hit the carport I let my programming turn me from human to my true form Steve smiled when he saw, "You're not shocked?" I asked.

"No, I fought beside a few Autobots during the war. Bumblebee, Hound, and Hotrod," he said.

I nodded as I transformed into my car mode.

Steve's P.O.V

Lifeguard's driver side door opened and I jumped in as a green light appeared on the other side of the parking lot. Natasha rode shotgun beside me as the seatbelts went around our waists and chests, "Hold on you two, the others will follow I am sure of it." she said through the radio as she hit the gas sucking my back closer to the seat. It was weird being inside Lindsey.....that sounded weird and wrong.

As soon as we arrived outside Tonys' mansion the same black Lambo was waiting. Lifeguard stopped and let Natasha and I out. "If those fuckers from Cemetary wind show up, smack them with your shield." she said as she sped off.

The sound of metal hitting metal echoed as Lifeguard slammed into Lockdown, she transformed and took out her duel swords. "Come on, you wanna attack my friend, why don't you pick on someone your own size you bully." she snarled as she attacked.

The two began to fight as the others arrived. "Damn, look at her go." Clint said.

That was until Lockdown slammed her into the ground by her throat, without thinking I charged and threw my shield hitting Lockdown in the face. Lockdown looked at me. "Disgusting, you love this human? Your creator would want you dead for that alone." Lockdown said, "Vibranium shield, old fashion patriotism as you humans call it. You must be Captain America. Oh, how I would love to take you as a trophy."

"You will not touch him!" Lifeguard snarled.

That's when an arrow flew past my head and stuck into one of Lockdown's knees and exploded causing the Decepticon to roar in anger and in pain, "You little flesh bag!"

Landfalls's P.O.V

I had just finished patching Tony up a few minutes ago and had just gotten him the human drink called 'hot tea' to help his sore throat, when I felt Lifeguard nearby and then I heard metal on metal in a fighting sense. I looked to Tony. "Do you know who attacked you?" I asked him.

"Jarvis, play video from helmet." Tony said his throat a bit better.

I watched the video for a few moments. "Stop." I had Jarvis stop the video on a face. "Lockdown. How did that fragger get pretender tech?" I looked to Tony. "Tony, please stay here. I have to go help my sister." He nodded then I left.

Once I got outside I transformed into my bi-pede mode. "Miss me?" I called out throwing a detachable knife at Lockdown.

Lifeguard's P.O.V

I smiled as I saw my twin ~Lifeguard to any Autobots or friendly Decepticons in the area. Requesting back up. Lockdown is here and targeting Avengers. Anyone respond?!

~Drift to Lifeguard ETA 90 seconds

~Ironhide to Lifeguard bridging in now.

I stood up slowly as Lockdown fought Landfall just in time to see a repulser blast, "Get away from my Lulu." Tony growled.

Just as Tony went to fly at Lockdown as the ground bridge opened and Ironhide flying through as he fired six well aimed shots at the bounty hunter sending him running away. I on the other hand wasn't in good shape not by a long shot. I was in a bad way, worse that what our brother had been. Tony was already crawling around my chassis assessing the damage that was inflicted on my frame. I looked over to Steve, my spark in pain to see tears in those eyes. I reached over taking one of my finger and touching that handsome face, "Ratchet will take care of me, don't worry." I said as my optics offlined.

I could hear Steve screaming my name in the darkness...
